Callerton House

Didn't get to find out what I liked I paid the 160 then they wanted 200 deposit .whilst I was sat outside the house debating to pay the extra 200 when there was no notice of this until I had paid my 160 .there was loads of scruffy kids playing football outside .there ball blasted my about 8 times whilst I was sat in it debating wether to give them the extra 200 .this made my mind up so I tried to cancel the stay and they wanted 77 pound cancellation fee ...avoid the place at all costs

this place is a hellhole. Deceiving and robbing people who make the photos look better then they are ( tried to cancel and get refund due to none standard living conditions. This place needs removing off booking.com because it stinks is dirty and unsafe. Live electrical cables dangling from ceiling. Crow barred doorframes and doors. Mould and grease in kitchen and the fridge absolutely stinks. Please read this review and do yourself a favour.

The property was absolutely filthy and totally uninhabitable. Do not waste a penny of your money as you will not be refunded, despite many efforts in trying to make contact with the host. Booking.com customer services also failed to contact the host on our behalf!!

Fridge/freezer was an absolute bacterial contaminated disgrace.
