Marina Fiesta Resort & Spa

We had a fantastic stay at Marina Fiesta in Cabo! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The location can’t be beat — steps from the Marina, a short walk to downtown, and close to the beach, so it’s easy to enjoy everything Cabo has to offer. Our room had beautiful views, and housekeeping went above and beyond — they even did the dishes, which was such a nice surprise! The pool area is great, with a fun swim-up bar, tasty cocktails, and delicious food. We had a small issue with the in-room safe when we were checking out (and, of course, our passports were inside), but the team sent someone up immediately and it was resolved within minutes — excellent service. One quick tip: don’t leave food out in the kitchen, as it can attract tiny ants. Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely return. Great service, great location, and a wonderful vacation experience! 🌴🍹☺️

Love this resort and the Marina Fiesta team! They always make you feel at home. The hotel dinning is superb! The location is perfect, walking distance to all downtown Cabo locations! I'll be back soon!

Thanks to Jennifer, an excellent server, our breakfast was delicious! I will definitely stay again at this amazing hotel. The bellboys' service was outstanding as well.

I visited for 6 days 5 nights and absolutely loved the size of the property - not too big. The staff were incredibly friendly from the check-in desk who changed my large bills into smaller denominations, to Orlando who helped me make dinner reservations, to the bell hop who gave me a rundown of my room, to the guys at the taxi stand and security who were checking to make sure the Uber I got into was indeed an Uber (evidently they do not want Uber coming onto their property at bigger resorts and prefer we use taxis), to the restaurant and bar staff and even staff I didn’t have any specific reason to interact with, but who asked me how my stay was going and even got me an extra hour before checking out at no charge (late checkout is charged at $10/ extra hour past 11 am). I must say, my favorite staff person was Keily in the spa. I have been suffering from computer neck pain for a month and when I told her to use hard pressure to work on my neck and shoulders she really worked hard and now my neck isn’t bothering me at all! She is absolutely worth her rates! That was only a 50 minute massage, not even the 80-minute one they recommended. And last but not least, Maria, the butler was great. She got me out of my comfort zone and introduced me to the spa cycle. I am not used to this part of going to a spa, but I tried the sauna, a cold plunge (I am usually a wimp in a cold pool, so this was brave for me) and my favorite, the hot tub. The hot tub outside the spa was never really as hot as this one, so it was worth it in my opinion to go to the one in the spa. All of the women and the one fellow I met who were working at the spa were all very friendly and seemed to really enjoy their jobs at Marina Fiesta’s spa. I’d definitely go back.

The property itself was average. Definitely not new but overall clean. Location is perfect, very walkable with plenty of dining options and shopping if that's what you are into. No direct beach access but only a short walk away. Only real complaint/feedback is that although the staff when actually interacting with them were great. Very

The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. We did have some issues with the air conditioner vent in our room dripping a lot, but they sent someone immediately to fix it. Lionel was especially helpful.

I NEVER leave reviews, but I can’t let this “adventure” go without warning future guests of impending headaches. There are several employees that we have become friends with over the years, namely Lionel and Rowdy, who are wonderful. We have stayed at the Marina Fiesta at least 10 times over the last 10 years or so and we’ve had issues in the past. We have encountered Rude staff at the front desk more than once. When we booked, the offer included a 100.00 resort credit. Upon checking in the “resort credit” was actually 40.00 in food or drinks, 40.00 in spa credit (if you choose to use their spa) and 20.00 credit towards “activities” I.e. fishing jet skis etc. there was no fine print describing the breakdown on the website . We had a few drinks at the swim up bar, and when we went to check out they told us that we had to “present” the “PAPER COUPON” each time we ordered a drink!!! So our resort credit would not be honered. WE WERE AT A SWIM UP BAR, and were supposed to have it with us when we ordered . Secondly, they told us WHEN WE WERE CHECKING OUT that we would be charge of 5.00 a day to clean our room which was not EVER disclosed upon check in. How do you get clean towels or shampoo etc??? WHO CHARGES TH CLEAN A ROOM????? This “resort”, is also a timeshare property, so they are constantly bugging you to “have free drink”, it never stops I was approached more than once by the same salesperson. The issues don’t stop there, they’re too numerous to list. There are many other options in Cabo ( and nicer) This will be our last visit to the Marina fiesta Th pool looked like an old dirty lagoon, the decking around the pool had broken rock all around the perimeter , and years overdue for an upgrade. Do yourself a favor and look somewhere else. We love Cabo but DONE with the Marina fiesta

After spending a week at Hacienda Encantada in April, I decided to visit its sister resort, Marina Fiesta, in July. I was unsure of the experience as I have avoided the hustle and bustle of the Marina for many years. I was pleasantly surprised. Because of its location, it's not as spread out as many of the properties you'd experience going toward San Jose del Cabo but it's the perfect fit for the Marina. No need to make a supermarket or dining run requiring a taxi or Uber. Everything is right here! The hotel itself was very nice, offering 3 adult pools and a children's pool. There is also a Sky-Bar on an upper floor and a well-equipped gym. I believe all the rooms have 2 entrances, one into the kitchen/living room area (with a shower) and the other directly into the bedroom (we had 2 queens) and a separate shower. There's an on-site restaurant as well as a swim-up bar. And although they offer an AI option, with restaurants feet away from the entrance, I didn't see the need. The huge mall nearby included a full-service supermarket as well as high-end fashion. I have to admit that the vendors selling tours, etc., can be a bit daunting but, if you say "No. Gracias" and kept walking they moved on. The food options were all around the Marina perimeter and several cruise ships came into town almost daily. I liked the fact that security was always available when entering or leaving the premises and we could visit Hacienda Encantada by taking the shuttle. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The structure allowed us to enjoy views of the Marina at all times of the day. I've definitely changed my view of the Marina!

The location is ideal for marina and water activities. The vibe is pure Mexican romance. The rooms are compact but nice and clean. It's a good value and we liked the airport shuttle. The service was great, especially Leonel who was so nice and helpful. Enjoy the swim up pool bar and the fiesta scene
