Princesa Yaiza Suite Hotel Resort

This Hotel has something for everyone. Great for families with kids but also separate swimming and relaxing areas for couples and seniors. The restaurants are excellent but be prepared to expect prices on the high side .The breakfasts are outstanding. The suites are comfortable and spacious . The staff are so friendly and customer focused. You won’t be disappointed.

Our family loved the Princess Yaiza from start to finish. the staff and facilities were all excellent.

This place made for a very relaxing holiday with our 21 month. The pools were warm and perfect depth for him to potter, we moved to using the baby pool at the back of the adults pool in the main hotel. The baby pool in the family annex suffered a bit from older siblings also running in and out and it was a bit full on at times for our wee toot. The bottom sea pool is an unofficial adults pool and we loved using that during the couple of hours our toddler was at crèche. The crèche was fantastic and Belene was so warm and kind and even taught our child some Spanish! Would absolutely recommend for a couple of child free hours. We only ate breakfast and lunch in the hotel as felt the evening buffet was extortionate compared to town. Lunches were mostly homemade from the hyperdino which is amazingly located between the annex and the main building . We did use the pool bar a couple of time and the food was very tasty and service excellent but it is expensive. Not outlandishly so for a 5 star hotel though. To say the room let them down isn’t quite fair as I really am nit picking. The aircon wouldn’t stand up to the heat of the summer so if your like me and like a cool room I think you’ll struggle, it was never below 22 with the aircon on. And you can’t control the temp. It’s got three setting 1,2 or 3. I can’t imagine that will change as the hotel attempts to be more eco-friendly. Our room was quite slow to be cleaned for about half of our stay as well. So when I wanted a shower after lunch one day we had no dry towels. As we’d only had the bare minimum of one each to start - nothing to wrap your hair in etc. this did get sorted after a couple of requests. As I said I’m nit picking!!! The set up with two rooms and the fridge, sink and micro was absolutely fantastic!

Has everything you might want or need. Staff are very friendly.

A bit dated. Room was a bit tired-looking. Big, so don’t think about it if you want peace and quiet and a kid free zone. The food is pretty average.

Fun with friends- no bars in the evening to get a drink after 11.30pm - hotel looked deserted nothing!!! Very very strange with it being so big and no bars or restaurants being open for guests!!! Only let down

Our suite room offered plenty of space and was mostly comfy and clean. However, the provision of two single beds pushed together was unacceptable and uncomfortable. The decoration was a little tired with very scuffed walls/skirtings and black mould in shower. Noise from room upstairs was very bad. Management ask that no sunbeds can be reserved but plenty put towels on before breakfast. It was not possible to get a sunbed by the pool later in the day. The whole pool area needs some improvement and some quieter areas for sunbeds. Drinks service was very poor. Pools were mostly used by small children with inflatables and there was no provision for adults only.

This is the first time visiting this hotel and this part of the island. Overall, the staff are not that friendly, or helpful. You can’t use the swimming pool (any of them until 10 am), you can’t use the gym until 8 am. Everybody must be out of the swimming pool by 6 pm, which seems bizarre when you still got over two hours of sunshine left. Hotel and grounds are clean but this is definitely not four star. So far what we’ve injured when it comes to entertainment in the evening is absolutely dire.
