"Paradise at SigaSiga Sands"

10.0

We loved the unspoilt beauty of Siga Siga Sands. We felt like we were in our own little world with both jungle and sea to ourselves. We enjoyed staying away from the crowds that one finds at other resorts. Delicious food was easily provided with a phone call and getting to town was really easy with a phone call to Bablu- the most punctual and wonderful taxi driver. There is wonderful snorkelling and swimming right on your doorstep here too. If you look there is an amazing array of life in the shallows even when the tide goes out. Gene has definitely made this a paradise. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

There was nothing we didn't like

"Perfect for private escape"

9.0

If you looking for privacy and relax, this is your place! This specific bungalow is small, but there are bigger options. Our site manager Subash and his wife Sunita were super friendly. There is a kitchen if you want to cook something yourself, if not they offer you a menu breakfast, lunch and dinner options . Wifi works good.

Can feel tiny inside and very hot, beware of mosquitoes and other bugs

Great location with your own beach and snorkel reef at low tide. We hired a car or use local taxi service to get into town.

"A good place to get away from everything."

8.0

Location was superb with great water view and sound of the waves.

Age has affected the look of the building. A bit more tidying up inside would be good. Didn’t know that to get a warm shower, we had to let the tap in the hand basin keep running. Needed more privacy.

"A great place to stay if you’re looking for a quiet getaway and ideallic oceanfront spot!"

10.0

We loved everything about this place! Far better than most hotels/small resorts we have stayed at in Fiji at a similar price point. The location is great and it’s the best snorkeling spot we’ve found in Savusavu. We enjoyed our breakfast delivered to us each morning. My husband especially enjoyed the French press coffee. The communication from Gene and Subash was very helpful. We originally booked Vonu, but our hot water was out and Gene graciously offered to upgrade us to Seahorse since it was available. We were super happy with both places. We hope to stay here again soon and would definitely recommend to others!

We honestly have no complaints.

I loved everything about the place. Beach was 50 meters away. Great food. Decent Internet access. Friendly staff. Price was perfect. The fan was enough for me (no AC). Pictures provided are exactly what is there.

"Exceptional"

10.0

From the first communication to leaving, communication with understanding and patience was highly informative, friendly and very professional. Gene, Subash and Sunita treated us better than family. Coco cottage was wonderful, full of charm and personality, with a wonderful view of the sea. Sunita prepared wonderful dishes of steamed okra, chicken curry and pumpkin lolo, that were absolutely delicious. Sigasiga sands has an understated charm, so much space to explore, such a wonderful beach, with amazing snorkeling and so many hermit crabs to say hello to. The nature trail behind the resort was a welcome foray into the rain forest and also gave us a wonderful vista of where the resort it on the coast. We would go back without a question.

"Beautiful and serene"

9.0

We stayed in the Sea Horse cottage. It was really delightful. The area is isolated and away from tourists. Very peaceful. We felt like we had the whole place to ourselves as there are only 4 bungalows which are far away from each other. The beach and reef are exceptionally beautiful. Its well worth taking some reef shoes and walking all the way out at high tide, exploring all the weird and wonderful creatures. When the tide is up I can highly recommend going out with the kayaks. The sunsets and sunrises are awesome. We rented a vehicle, but Bablu the taxi driver is always available. He collected us from the airport and drove us to the Taveuni ferry. He is so obliging and can highly recommend him. The town of Savusavu has some nice little restaurants just past the town (such as The Captains table for great curry or pizza with a great view)and/or you can buy food from the supermarkets in town. Its worthwhile visiting the waterfall at Muanivatu village which is close to Savusavu. Nawi Island is also worth a visit and easy to get to from Savusavu.

"Focus on privacy, limited budget, complete facilities, a good place for a seaside holiday"

9.0

The hotel staff are very friendly and will send messages to communicate before check-in. They can also communicate via WhatsApp. The hotel is a 10-minute drive from the airport, and the hotel fee includes airport transfers and breakfast. Located on the beach. You can walk to the beach in 2-3 minutes. The environment is very good. There are only 4 villas at the same time. You can enjoy the treatment of four beaches and the privacy is very high. The villa has very complete kitchen facilities and air conditioning. You can cook by yourself, or ask the hotel to prepare it and deliver it to the house. The cost is not expensive at all.

There is no hot water, even though Fiji is very hot, I still prefer a hot shower. There are a lot of mosquitoes, so you need to take precautions against mosquitoes(The hotel provides mosquito coils).
