Boarders Inn & Suites by Cobblestone Hotels - Faribault

Started off by being put into the wrong room. I paid through the app for a king suite and when I got there they out me in a double queen. They called me and corrected the error, I guess two people with the same last name were checking in, or may have been a language barrier issue. They corrected it and that’s what matters though. Then about 10:30 at night the smoke alarms started going off. The hallways were full of smoke and one of the hotel workers wasps just saying “it’s just smoke, no problem” even though the alarms were super loud (yes, they worked!). Many people went and sat outside, but then we got clarification that some teens were using a fog/smoke machine and lasers for a party. So no threat, just an annoyance. Overall stay was fine with that interesting twist of the smoke alarms. Smelled a bit like smoke even though it’s no smoking but it wasn’t too strong.

Light out in bathroom, bathtub drain wouldn’t stay open. It was okay otherwise.

Very nice staff but had to call to have our room cleaned. There is no fan in the bathroom so it takes the towels longer to dry.

Clean. Well Kept up. Quiet.

Came for a graduation in the area. Clean rooms friendly staff great rotating breakfast menu daily. Kids loved the pool good size tiled hot tub and sauna!

Second time visiting. Was hoping it would be better. No. Phlegm, green and dried in the bathroom sink. No working WiFi. Tv turns on but no input or connections. No assistance or acknowledged. Will not be visiting again.

They could ease up on the air freshener

Okay. Rooms need better cleaning and breakfast could use some fruit options.

Stay for four days breakfast was bad. No fruit. No French toast that was on the board for that day, tv was small, ice machine did not work. Person from the front desk on our second day said we had to leave we were book for 4 days

Breakfast was bad no fruit. They had no French toast on the day they said they would. The tv small, the remote kept coming apart, some worker told us we had to leave said we did not book the room for that day. But we did. Had to keep getting new key cards for our room everyday. Ice Machine did not work. I could go on.
