Sercotel HMO Martina

We got the airport bus which took us straight to the hotel. Travelling time 30mins. On entering hotel receptionist not welcoming and seemed to be in a bad mood. We were on the 13th floor. Lovely views from our room, but no balcony. Also no rooftop terrace which is on their website and is also stated in their welcoming book in the room. That was one of the reasons we chose the hotel, so we were disappointed regarding that. Also room is not soundproof. Even bigger disappointment as wi fi at hotel was a complete disaster and if you had to do business from the hotel you would be wasting your time. Wi fi needs to be working not on and off and it is unacceptable in this day and age especially in Europe and in Spain for it not to be working. Hotel is in walking distance of sites. About a 20 minute walk to Alhambra and the Generalife. We walked every where and also took the train which is the Granada City Tour which was good. The scene is Granada is beautiful and the people are lovely, friendly and helpful. The Platz has lots of open top cafes and restaurants with a fantastic atmosphere. Spanish music being played around the Platz by brilliant musicians. Not much night life when we went to Granada, but we still had a great time.

Beds were super hard. The entire place is just very old and shabby. The elevator morning traffic jam is not great especially if you are with your luggage (elevator is very small). It was clean and centrally located. But I think perhaps for this price point you may be able to find other better accommodations

We had a great stay and the Vincci Granada! After a long two week vacation the Vincci was a blessing. We both woke up not wanting to leave the bed! I would recommend this hotel to anyone:)

Excellent venue. So very convenient. Polite, obliging staff. It was totally suitable for my purpose. I would stay there again. Reasonably priced.

Great location and great breakfast! The staff were not very friendly and we had to keep probing for information. Stayed for 2 nights, and 1 day our room wasn't cleaned. You can tell it used to be a 4 star hotel, but has definitely aged.

There are only 3 floors to the hotel starting with the 11 th floor. The bottom 10 floors are ugly tenements with window unit air conditiones and grafiti. The hall carpets are filthy and the bed was hard.

The free WiFi service was pitiful. Half the time it didn't work and when it did it was terribly slow. The photograph shown in Hotels.com shows a terrace that is not available to guests. It is misleading.

A good value hotel in a good location. Locality is quite pleasant with cafes nearby and just a 20 minute walk into the centre of town. The hotel is showing its age with rooms OK but pretty ordinary. Service generally good. As a cheap base to explore the city it was absolutely fine.

Fantastic value for money, great position ,beautiful view and very helpful staff

view was nice and cleanliness was good but in terms of service appalling. I had to pay 12 euros to get me shirt ironed as there was no facility for an iron, I have travelled alot and i have never come across a hotel that doesnt provide an iron. breakfast buffett limited and much the same each day. certainly wouldnt recommend it
