Rodeway Inn Monterey Near Fairgrounds

Convenient location and a close drive to the beach and shopping and to everything we wanted to do and see. Gas stations and food within walking distance too.

Not a big deal, but our room wasn't ready at check in time and had to wait an hour for it to be cleaned. We just went to the park while we waited.

It was amazing to get away and find a great hotel to stay for a couple of days, if anoogey away in the works will use this hotel again

I stayed for 4 nights and no housekeeping service The shower wasn’t good so a per went late at night to fix it

Location was OK

The room did not appear to be clean. The floor was not mopped. I pulled the screens off of the air conditioner and they were dirty so I cleaned them. There was a blood stain on the mattress. When I pulled the sheet off the bed, there was a potato chip on the box spring. I pulled the bed out from the wall and there was potato chips and dirt behind the bed. The windowsills were filthy. The coffee maker was filthy inside. I had to clean it out with tissue in order to use it. I went back to the front desk the next day to get more coffee and new wash cloth. I stood in there for six minutes, waiting and repeatedly saying HELLO, for someone to come to the counter and I finally gave up.

It's rundown and horrible. Did not stay. I'm requesting a refund. Did not feel safe at all. Worse than a hostel. Extremely rundown and shaby. Should not be in the list at all.

You will have he the worst experiences.here . Water is cold , no towels in the room , when you do request for towels —/ they are dirty and old . sheets are dirty/ has stains , no internet / or we can has internet but it does not work . No room cleaning services unless you request . Front Worker does not speak English when I checked in , he had to put the cell on speaker to talk to someone else in English to go through checking in …..
