"Always a great place to stay, staff are very welcoming and helpfull, Thanks Heythrop!"

Breakfast is amazing as always as we have stayed here before, Brasseria 32 is the best for dinner followed by Market Kitchen. We didn't really enjoy the travelling juke as its not our kind of food but I guess if you like pub style food its ok! Entertainment in the evening is always amazing! Spa facility very good and very relaxing.

Nothing.

Staff very friendly, enjoyed the gin tasting

Not being able to call anyone, and voice message saying ring back the following day wasn't helpful.

"We had a a truly wonderful couple of days away, and would definitely recommend Heythrop Park."

10.0

The hotel was stunning, and our room was lovely. It was immaculately clean and the bathroom was spotless. The shower had several different spray settings and was powerful. Scented hand wash, body wash, shampoo and conditioner were all supplied. We had a good sized TV and free WiFi. There was a hair dryer, iron and ironing board, and bath robes supplied in the room, and tea, coffee and hot chocolate making facilities with biscuits. The bed was beautifully comfortable. The hotel was a pleasure to walk around as it was decorated so beautifully. There were many communal rooms where one could sit and enjoy the decor, or the view from the windows. A couple of rooms had record players with LPs to choose from. There was also a games room, with a choice of board games, and a billiards room. Toilets are conveniently dotted about the hotel. There is also a spa, with treatments available to book. The hotel has over 400 acres of beautiful grounds. We only saw a tiny part of them as it was cold when we visited, but there is lots to see and do, including croquet on the lawn, and bowls on the only remaining sunken, round bowling green in the country (as we learned from the very entertaining Ryan, who gave an interesting talk on the history of Heythrop Manor). Archery and Rifle shooting sessions are offered at an additional cost. There is a good selection of activities offered throughout the day, and entertainment during the evening. We saw comedian, Lloyd Hollet in the theatre and he was very entertaining. The food throughout our stay was exceptional! With three restaurants to choose from and lovely staff (shout out especially to Alex, Leila and Harmony, all of whom went above and beyond).

Absolutely nothing!

The stay was frustrating. The meal booking system was too rigid, signage was poor, and the car park was far with no map or guidance. Who wants to scan codes on a break?...

Surrounding area was beautiful,

New buildings around the mansion were not complimentary to the mansion. None of this is shown in pictures prior to visiting, so the view in adverts are misleading. Communication was appalling, every booking is through apps that you have to download. I am not IT sassy, but I have never experienced so much frustration with a system.
