The location itself was good and the room was visually quite nice on first impression.

Unfortunately, the overall experience fell well below expectations for a 4-star hotel. We experienced a 45-minute queue just to check in, with no assistance afterwards in locating our room. Once in the room, the TV did not work properly, the bathroom door would not fully close, and we repeatedly had wasps in the room. During the night there was significant noise disruption in the corridor outside our room which impacted sleep, and the breakfast experience the following morning was very poor, particularly around allergy support. We asked multiple times for assistance and struggled to get any meaningful help or guidance from staff. What made the experience worse was the handling afterwards. I raised the issues at checkout and followed the complaints process exactly as instructed, but was repeatedly passed between different people and asked to effectively justify or prove the experience afterwards because there were “no records” internally. Expectations that were set at checkout were ultimately not honoured, and whilst a partial refund was eventually offered after a lengthy process, I did not feel it appropriately reflected either the experience itself or the time and effort required to pursue the matter.

A bit tired and most of the staff couldn’t speak very good English. We left a couple of items of clothing behind and after 2 weeks, 3 phones calls, and an email to them I’m still waiting to see what’s happened to my 2 items of clothing. Really bad communication 😡 wouldn’t go again or recommend
