"Good stay. Only gripe is that the hotel lacked a bit of atmosphere, more like a conference center than a hotel."

The property would need a bit of TLC. Elevators not working. Stayed in room 316, rough plaster work on ceiling .

"Lovely stay great location friendly staff fabulous choices for breakfast."

Central location great for transport and walking to old town. Clean and spacious rooms with good air con. Convenient for the many restaurants in old town. Rooftop bars give lovely views and O Castelo has fado nights for local music and good food. Hotel pool is lovely although small but we found early evening times were quiet for a swim before dinner. Friendly and helpful staff at the hotel everything you need. Great stay

"First time staying in occidental faro!"

This was our first time coming to faro Portugal and I was not dissapointed in any way while staying with the amazing hosts at the occidental faro. It was a shame we were only able to stay for the weekend, next time we will be staying for longer. A big thank you to the amazing staff that where able to help with all inquiries!

"Sehr schönes Hotel in toller Lage"

Sehr schönes Hotel in perfekter Lage. Alles was man so braucht ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Personal war höflich und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer war modern eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Das Frühstücksbuffet war vielseitig und wurde immer wieder nachgefüllt/kontrolliert. Der Pool auf der Dachterrasse war super.

Beim Frühstück auf der wunderschönen Dachterrasse ist das Rauchen erlaubt. Wir wurden mehrfach vom Nebentisch zugequalmt. Aus unserer Sicht sollte dies während der Essenszeiten eingeschränkt werden bzw. ein Raucherbereich an der Seite eingerichtet werden.

Die Beleuchtung ist komisch. Nachttischlampen gehen nur mit Grundbeleuchtung am/aus.
