Westgate Cocoa Beach Resort

It was clean and close to restaurants. Loved that they had courtesy pier transportation. The pool area and bar was really nice even thought it was the coldest weekend ever.

Nothing!

We stayed in a two bedroom condo in building seven, which is the one closest to the beach and away from the main building area. The condo had been updated and was very spacious and comfortable. The building, however, was very much a typical motel style room without much charm. Rooms open up to the parking lot and there is easy access to the beach right there. Across the street is the rest of the resort and remaining buildings. The two buildings closest to the reception and to the kids’ pool are indeed extremely loud, with live entertainment, competitions, and all sorts of people on loud microphones throughout the afternoon. There are communal washer and dryers in the area of the resort, but we had a hard time finding machines that were actually operational. The reception staff was very nice and there is a small shop on property. Everything else is within a short driving distance. The local vibe is very much strip malls, wide busy roadways, and lots of casual eateries and bars. It’s about a 30 minute drive to the Kennedy space center without traffic.

Pool, size of rooms. The front desk clerk was very helpful with info on rides.

Lazy River was too cold and located mainly in the shade.

We liked that our rooms were connected with our family.

The food was very limited on the property and very expensive. Not much for kids. The pool was EXTREMELY cold and hard to use. In the middle of the night, the water heater in the locked closet was making such a load noise and the office couldn’t do anything about it so we were up all hours of the night

They didn’t come change trash or give more towels or collect the dirty ones. Had to ask for blankets a party of 5peoples really.

I would have to say the staff is what stood out the most! Absolutely amazing.

Beautiful and close to the beach!

There was honestly nothing I didn’t like

We were there for the 2025 National All State Championship Fast Pitch Softball hosted by the USSSA at the Florida's Space Coast. Resort location was ideal for our games, shopping, restaurant and it has its own beach entrance. Roo.s were spacious and clean. The resort offered heated pool, splash pad, hot tub and activities for all ages to participate in and even movie night with popcorn poolside. The staff and security was so friendly, and helpful. The resort is pet friendly. Yes, I will be coming back! Ours girls, The Dream Team took first place in the 2025 Championship.
