Westgate Cocoa Beach Resort

All the staff are fantastic. They were helpful and pleasant.

Clean. Friendly staff. Pool areas were well laid out and accessible. Location was walking to a lot of things.

Walls were a little thin.

The cleanliness, the friendly staff, the rooms were big and spacious. But really the staff. They were great and anytime we ask for something. It arrived within 10 minutes. I would recommend this place.

There wasn’t really anything we did not like. Just the weather sucked. Lol.

Our family spent a few days in Orlando before heading to Westgate for some beach time. We booked this place because online it was rated the best place for kids. There was a picture of a splash pad with a slide which this location does not have. This was a bit disappointing but we should have done more research. The rooms are decent size but definitely need an upgrade! Our dishwasher was super rusty and falling apart. The door paint was bubbling and the couch was less than desirable. The other biggest issue which I know can be hard with Florida humidity was the mold in the shower. Just felt like for the price we paid these things could have been better maintained. The positives: the security staff and bartender were very friendly. The pool area was nice and being so close to the beach was perfect. You could walk down the beach and Beto the pier and can see a rocket launch from the beach as well! Overall I wouldn’t highly recommended this for families but if you’re staying for just a few days it will do. Hopefully upgrades are on the way though.

We loved everything about the resort. The beds were absolutely amazing. We loved all the water amenities. We will definitely be back in the near future with our family.

I didn't like that the bath tub did not drain out after showering. It felt like it was scummy. I felt bad for the cleaning lady to have to clean it. I tried to clean it up the best I could.
