Westgate Cocoa Beach Resort

The grounds and pools are kept clean and exceptional. Front desk was professional and good. This time I was with 3 senior citizens, 2 had mobility issues. 1st room on the 2nd floor, felt like we were at a motel facing the road - not part of the resort and the traffic noise didn't foster a relaxing energy. We were told by the front desk, that was one of their best rooms. 2 of us are owners and knew different. We were given wrong ID bracelets non-owners. 2nd room we were moved to, better location, but smelled musty. I was working on my laptop late, sitting at the dining table an hear "drip, drip, drip" I heard the upstairs guest flush their toilet then heard a rush of drips. The upstairs toilet was dripping! The noise was coming in from the living room vent. When we left our room and came back, the musty smell was very noticable. When we go home it permeated all of our clothes and in our suitcases. The Westgate beach service shuts down early 4:30pm and easily if there is a little rain for a minute or so. The Rikki Tikki Tavern on the Pier was never open because "it's too windy", it wasn't. The staff also expressed that things felt like they've taken a turn since the passing of David A. Siegel (Westgate founder) We don't come often, 4 times in the past 10 years. So it was disappointing, but things happen.

Quick one night stay for our daughter to have a day at the beach. Was very impressed and will return again.

Very clean and peaceful

It was a okay stay. Not enough washer and dryers for the whole resort - literally people were hovering over me watching me while trying to dry my clothes after the beach/pool. Rooms are okay. Jacuzzi and pool was nice. Relaxing for the most part, I did like how often we saw security. Not much offered to do besides the pool. Thought there would be more for a resort.

We own a timeshare here and spend up to 2 weeks a year here, lots to do in the area. Hotel needs a better restaurant to get a 5 star review. Located across from the beach, new water park is very small

The pool area was great and room was very nice.

It was to close to the major road.

Upon arrival we were told that the kids water pod was closed until further notice. The washer/dryer area is a little to be desired. My son was full of bites from sitting on the couch in our room as did I one night. St this point I had had enough and left a day earlier. Pool and lazy river was ok. Food and drinks very expensive at pool side. The room we stayed at was a two bedroom unit which was on the main road. Bedrooms had no windows and it was very dark with faux shutters. Every time we showered there was a smell of sewer. Upstairs people were very noisy and we bought a fan to block their noise at night. On a positive note I did like the kitchenette area.
