Taj as usual at its best. If you are in Colombo do not look for any other property. It’s very much close to most of the attractions. The checkin experience, staff courtesy and room service was unmatched. The breakfast buffet menu was a great relief. It was an elaborate span of items. All in all a wonderful experience.

Pool table missing as a part of the activities. A big property like Taj is expected to have that.

"Great Location; Service needs improvement - don't expect "Taj" level of service"

Great location and surroundings. The promenade is just across the road.

The washrooms have a bathtub and no separate shower area. I was traveling with a senior citizen and it is extremely risky for someone to go in and out of the tub to bathe. AC in the room wasn't working properly. The lights in the cabinet was not turning off which lead to us to sleeping with a light on through the night. On our last night, someone was blasting music at 430AM which went on till 730-8AM. We practically did not get any sleep that night. The staff wasn't too much of help either. The food is pretty okayish and not that great in any of the restaurants.
