Amazing hospitality. Felt so pampered,relaxed. Loved the water sports too! Ahmedh at dive center is an amazing coach and helped us in scuba diving and snorkeling. Jiva spa is fantastic.Overall its a wonderful experience

An excellent stay at an extremely comfortable and well-maintained property. We stayed in an over water villa with a little deck. We could swim out from the room to a hammock pitched in the middle of the lagoon, which was good fun. I was very impressed with the high standards of housekeeping, the turn down service at night, the hotel's committment to the environment (use of glass bottles and metal straws) and the always smiling, helpful staff. Food was very good but highly priced. Water sports were prohibitively expensive. USD 215 (incl taxes) for a half-hour water sport is just too high a price. One piece of feedback for the hotel - the staff at the Dive centre need to be better trained. Some of them were rude and too blunt in their manner of speech. We lost a snorkelling flipper that the hotel had given us. Of course we knew we would have to pay for it. But I didn't expect that a guy from the Dive centre (Naveen) would wave at me from the jetty while I was paddle boating with my son and yell out " I'm going to have to bill you for the missing flipper." That's just not ok. There's a time and a place to discuss such things.

The Taj resort is close to the Male airport just a 20 minute boat trip away. One of the reasons I picked the resort. I was blown away by the amenities, friendliness of the staff, how the rooms were kept clean, the butler was amazing and thoughtful with the chocolates, and the Deep-End-Restaurant located on the resort was amazing! The food cooked the night I went was by Chef Atul and I was blown away not just by the presentation but by how the food was prepared to perfection! Only negatives is when you check out they sound the alarm on the room phone which I thought was inappropriate and then keep knocking on your door even after you say just a few more minutes. Overall resort was a good escape but could've been better if the checkout process was done professionally.

Very nice, except for the store, which is outrageously expensive and on the border line of pure ripoff. Coconut oil jar, 250 ml cost is 110 US$.

The staff go out of their way to exceed the expectations of even the most seasoned travelers.

My third time in this hotel and I again loved it. Best in class service, beautiful hotel and all the privacy you need on a holiday. Can’t wait to go back.

It’s a wonderful property and great place to relax. Beautiful water villa with personal butler service added to the experience. Our butler was very helpful and went out of his way to organise a surprise for us on the beach. Wonderful experience!!!
