Taj Exotica Resort And Spa

Everything is very good at the Taj. It is probably the closest İsland to Male and therefore transport is great as they take care of you picking up and dropping off. The laggon at Taj is spectacular. For us it was the ultimate sea experience - though a little bit sad that no reef or corals are available on the island and you are charged for 70USD plus 20% to snorkel in the neighbor island reef.

It was one of the best experiences of my life will try my best to visit again can't get wrong with Taj ever exceptional service exceptional place exceptional people.....

If I could give 10 stars then I would! We stayed in the premium villa with private pool and I could not have asked for a better experience. Our private butler Elite was amazing, leaving little gifts and chocolates for us everyday and taking care of our every need. Everything was perfect, beautiful weather, the location is convenient for transfers...the large lagoon gives for breathtaking views all around...the staff and their amazing generosity...bathroom stocked fully with molten brown products....absolute luxury in every sense. The food was the best I've had in any restaurant in the world especially at the Deep End. Thank you Taj Exotica Resort and Spa, we have had an unforgettable experience, wishing to come back again!

The most amazing experience ever. The service and hospitality were exceptional. Special shout out to chef Kannan who was amazing. Would recommend the Chef's dinner experience called cook and dine. They made an exception for us so I could learn to cook my favorite Indian dish even though it was not in the menu!!!Also a big thank you to the staff that took us snorkeling, the in house marine biologist, our concierge Alli and the in house water activities expert. Everything was extremely well done and perfect. Can't wait to come back.

Everything was going quite well for our 8 night stay until the last night. We were having our last dinner on the beach and enjoying the views. I had ordered an expensive bottle of 1999 white wine which I tasted and sent back because it was bad---turned to vinegar. A few minutes later, the Wine Steward showed up with the Butler and one other staff. The Wine Steward tried to intimidate me into accepting the bottle even though it was bad---a serious breech of hospitality. Needless to say, that put a damper on our last evening. Our housekeeper, Madkeen, was excellent, and the Butler, Adi was very good. Were it not for the incident with the wine, I would have given the resort a 5 star rating.

This hotel is fabulous. The villas are gorgeous and rustic. The staff is attentive and friendly. We absolutely loved it.

Amazing hotel with great facilities. The Deep end Restaurant is exceptional. We had dinner there several times (order their king lobster - it's to die for). Only issue we faced was with the dining. The chefs are not native to the Maldives and seemed to mess up every order we placed (pizza, burgers, etc.) The only decent place to eat is at Deep End in the opinion. Be SURE to ask for Mohammed - HE WAS AMAZING. WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND TO ENSURE WE WERE HAPPY.
