Sycamore Apartments

Good location

Was expecting a separate living room , bedroom and bathroom but not what we got. Someone's description was a bit off

The room size, the kitchen being behind doors (blocks noise and light) and the communication from the hosts were great. The parking lot is small but there were plenty of spaces (price is more expensive than in their comms though) and getting into the room was a breeze.

The room looks good on entry but is very dated, with older fixtures and broken bits that could easily be rectified. The biggest issue for me was the cleanliness. There was mould in the bathroom, which is understandable but still a health risk. However, there was a large build up of mould on the kitchen sink tap. I noticed green floating "things" in a glass of water so looked under the tap and was horrified by the amount of build up, it made me feel sick to my stomach (photos attached) and clearly hasn't been cleaned for a very long time.

Location was great nice short walk through park or along the river into the city centre. Lovely big room with everything thing you need.

Limited hot water due to small tank not enough to fill a bath. Had to boil a few kettles to top up. No facilities for food or drink at the property so ensure you bring your own.

Location great for train station and town centre

Suitable for a couple of nights only. Bed uncomfortable. Felt like student accommodation

Perfectly located, clean and decent value for money

Apartments are advertised as having parking, which isn’t a lie but you’re not told that it’s (apparently) 3rd party owned and chargeable at £20 for 24 hours until you have booked your stay, should be advertised as chargeable No wifi password to be seen in rooms and we were only notified of password on our departure Not big problems but should be addressed

Nicely located a stones throw from the train station as well as the city center

Neighbors upstairs making a lot of noise about 1am
