location was good & close to town. Overall the room was big & a lot of space.

Id expect it to be to a higher standard, kitchen area giant exposed boiler, tiling with big gaps, flooring uneven from kitchen to bathroom. Bathroom was dated & first night i had no hot water. Room was really warm but they did supply a fan. I chose this due to price but then when you add in £20 a night for parking makes it expensive. Normally stay in a travelodge or holiday inn & would do that again as same price once you've paid for parking.

Perfect location near train station with beautiful surroundings y great neghborhood. Nice views from window. Small walk to the gorgeous gardens of the abbey and museum.

Small doble bed. Doble beds in UK are in general smaller than elsewhere. If you are expecting a king size bed, better look for two beds. Would do good with wall hangers and shelves

Close to the train station and Museum gardens, so a very handy base when staying in York. We didn't really have to walk further than about 20 minutes to get to any of the attractions we wanted to visit. Good sized studio with all the basic amenities you would need for preparing meals, check in is all non contact as the door and keycodes are sent to you prior to arrival. Generally a very quiet area, you may hear the odd train or two of an evening. I believe there are washing facilities on the ground floor if you are staying longer, but we did not use these.

Hand-wash for the bathroom not being included - we would rather have that provided than the miniature shower gels. The shower needs a small shelf for toiletries as currently you have to leave them on the floor, not ideal when you can't wear specs in the shower. It would be nice to have an itemised breakdown for any damages provided ahead of time. £50 for two pillowcase covers seems excessive (for hair dye that comes out in a normal wash). Had we known we would be penalised for this, I would have handwashed them before we left to get our train. It did put a dampener on the end of a wonderful week in York.

The original room wasn't cleaned at all. Then we moved to another room and the carpet was dirty, tv wasn't great bathroom could updating the hall had an unpleasant smell.

Excellent location, accommodations and staff!

It was in a great location close to walk into the old town. The bed was comfortable and room was ok clean.

Carpets need to be cleaned and a deep clean of kitchen. Washing machine/dryer is £8 per load in a lower basement and parking is £18 per day which was a surprise, but then York seems to be really expensive to park.

The location was perfect!

We had no hot water in our apartment! However the owner came with a plumber and electrician, but could not fix it. We were then moved to a superior apartment, which was excellent.
