Lagonita Lodge

Lagonita Lodge is a great vacation destination. The staff in particular is very friendly and welcoming. It feels like coming home to great friends. We enjoyed the welcome wine and cheese and met some great people. What a wonderful experience. The lake cruise was wonderful and so much fun. We will be back.

I liked that it was close to the lake.

The staff are incredible. Everyone was so helpful. Easy check-in. Plenty of maintenance and people walking around asking if you need anything. Great location on the lake. The only thing I would suggest is that the rooms need to be updated..

We love the Lagonita Lodge and always stay here when in Big Bear. Everything about it is WONDERFUL!!! The location is perfect being right on the lake. The condos are updated and clean.The staff is helpful, friendly and knowledgeable.

We have stayed at Lagonita Lodge a couple of times prior to this trip. We have always gotten a lakeview room and have been quite satisfied with the room and view. This time, we were told at check in that we were in the building where our lake view is obstructed by trees. We explained that we booked a lake view room so we shouldn’t be put in this room. The employee explained that there were no other rooms and that this was our only option. We asked for some type of compensation since we are not getting the lake view that we booked and paid for she said since we booked through an outside booking site and not through their website, the description of the room could be incorrect even though the description was exactly the same as their website. She advised us to talk to the manager the next day. We decided to drop it because we didn’t want to ruin our trip. Just know, the rooms in building 4…rooms in the 30’s will have obstructed lake view. These should be in a different price bracket, but are not. Otherwise, we live this place and it’s locations.

Old but clean and nice place. Only issue is the check-in at 5:00pm, which is kind of late.

This was my second time staying here and I enjoyed the nearness of the lake, the quietness, and good value for the price!

I stayed on 3rd floor. Guest on 2nd floor came knocking/pounding on my door AT 4pm and in a very rude way stated that she could hear my kids steps and to quiet down! That ruined my stay in a way. They were not even jumping or running! Everything else was great. The staff is very nice and helpful

Loved the property and the lake views from the deck were beautiful. The indoor pool and upstairs game room were also wonderful.
