Phoenix Flower Hotel

Centrale ligging en we konden een scooter huren en een tour boeken. Personeel was super behulpzaam.

Op de website stond ocean view maar er is veel construction work gaande. Kan het hotel niets aan doen maar wel misleidend.

Big room. Good location. Received our luggage early and kept it until we checked in. Staff very kind and available.

Found three hairs on my bed. Only one outlet available and very hard to plug in. Had to force it. The only other outlet in room was not reachable to plug in because it was behind a built in desk and in a drawer. So only one outlet available for the whole room. Had to bring water kettle to the only outlet. No outlet in bathroom. Bathroom did not have shower enclosure so water went everywhere. Towels are not absorbing.

L'endroit (même si la vue depuis l'hôtel va bientôt être totalement gâchée par le complexe construit en bord de mer), les hôtes qui nous ont aidés avec les bus et à nous tenir au courant par rapport a un typhon en approche de la zone de halong ! Le petit déjeuner était très bien également !

La wifi non sécurisé Le matelas un peu dur

Accueil très sympatique, chambre confortable, excursions réservables directement à l'accueil, petit déjeuner local. Gérante aidante, bienveillante, une vraie crème 🤗

Ne vous attendez pas à avoir vue mer, qui commence au 7e étage, depuis que les travaux d'un gigantesque centre touristique ont commencé littéralement à la place de la baie (voir Google maps en vue satellite). Plutôt vue sur la rue avec espace vert.

I liked the location, it was convenient to go to the restaurants and to the beach.

Beds are too hard, AC blowing directly into you even if you point it into any direction, we couldn’t chill at the balcony because there was angry foreign guy with his wife and child, went to sleep at 20:00 and complained about noice even if hotel is located at the busy street and fireworks. I mean, did you come to an island to sleep at 20:00?! No! Also, electric kettle was broken.

I loved the location close to beaches by feet and centre with lot of shops and restaurants, nice & helpful staff, atmosphere of the place. Breakfast is not the best, but it is perfect value for money. The room was clean with spacious balcony. Sadly, there is huge ongoing construction all over the coast so it is noisy, but I didn't mind and it is not the failure of the hotel. I would recommend it anyways and once im back I would go there again.

Cat Ba is a beautiful spot but the waterfront in town is 100% under construction and inaccessible for now… Amber and staff are amazing, my room was spotless and very comfortable. Amber will assist with tours, motorbike, transport and trekking ideas at fair prices. The hotel is comfortable, clean but the 24hr a day construction is a tad crazy. No big deal as I was out and about but bothersome from midnight to 7am while trying to g to sleep. I was on the top foot waterfront side so rear rooms likely unaffected? I can’t say enough about Amber and staff helping out with a smile and so kind!! Breakfest was great and cooked to order…. Tx again!

The waterfront construction all night long BUT not hotels fault and is the same at EVERY waterfront hotel in Cat Ba. Cheers

Unfortunately had we have known that there's a massive building site blocking access and views of the main beach we probably would have booked elsewhere
