"Rotten fested and owner feeds javelinas right outside the back door! Would not go here definitely not safe. And she does"

As much as I hate to do this unfortunately this place is rat infested not mice insisted rat infested! Once upon a time it was a beautiful property but now it has gone down the hill. The owner handled the situation improperly as my roommate is highly allergic to rodents.

The rooms are located in a beautiful 1903 house. The manager is very good about giving you information about the room, access, check-in check-out etc. It was a comfortable room with a small kitchenette. Each room had a rock n roll theme which made it fun. The downsides are that the manager is not on site, so if guests do not follow the rules there in not much you can do. Our neighbor decided to start singing loudly after 10 pm, so make sure to have earplugs. Also, the bathroom had a beautiful claw foot tub/shower combination with high sides. There is no grab rail. We found it difficult to get in and out. So, if you have mobility issues, you might see if there is a room that would accommodate you. Otherwise, it is a one of a kind house with a convenient location, lots of parking and minimal outside noise.

Was given the wrong room when we first got there. Walked into someone’s stuff in the room. I’m sure if they knew that, they wouldn’t be very happy. Didn’t know how to lock the front door when we were going out. The hosts email didn’t say anything. Bathroom mirror is way too high for us short people. No plug ins for lamps that were hanging from the wall. Curtain around tub did not fully open bc of the bar at top. No plug ins in bathroom for hair dryer. The building is 1906 so I get that it’s old but the front need repairs. Some window screens were coming off. We had some flapping in the strong wind. Loved the light switches (old style). The house had character.
