Fairways 2

Clean, spacious and very well equipped.

We loved the Fairways 2 at the back of the golf course with glorious views and great location for Coles Bay. Enjoyed the modern, clean look and the degree of comfort. Close driving distance to town and the amenities there (a shop and 2 excellent eateries in the centre of town). Bedrooms were generous and beds comfy. Outside offered great eating area and BBQ which we sadly didn't get to use Would stay again or recommend to friends.

It had everything you needed which was good and it was clean. I appreciated that there was washing powder supplied with the washing machine. There was a strong smell of bleach or cleaning product when we arrived, though.

It was a lot smaller/less spacious than the pictures convey with a small outdoor area. It would best suit families with smaller children or a mature couple with no kids. It’s in a suburban/industrial type area and out of town. No views. Also come prepared with groceries as the nearest supermarket is 40 /45 minutes away and closes at 5pm or 5:30pm. The local store has limited supply of varying quality. The General Store in Coles Bay had more on offer but again limited supply, and of varying quality. Both were expensive. There was no welcome or information provided on arrival. I had a missed call from a number that could have been the property but no message was left. The property manager had been quite rude when he processed my first payment without notice. It was a debit card and didn’t go through. I received a message that my card had been declined indicating not enough funds - in capital letters. I just needed to transfer to that card. It was implied that I could not pay. Otherwise, our stay in the area was pleasant and we visited Wineglass Bay which was our goal.

Location was great, near the Freycinet National Park.

Hard single bed. Instructions for coffee machine was on the kitchen wall, but no coffee machine.

The property was immaculately presented, modern, spacious, and well-located.

The coffee maker broke during a previous occupancy and the owner would not replace it, making us make coffee one cup at a time. For the booking charge, this is cheap, mean and nasty! Also, although, the owner and property were not at fault, we came during the storms, cyclonic winds, which caused the cottage to rock like a boat, and whistle like we were in a lighthouse

The location and cleanliness was good. It was cold at night and the heaters didn't work. Most of the PowerPoints in the house didn't work and the power kept shorting out. Extra's like shampoo & conditioner would have been good as the location is very remote and there aren't alot of shops nearby.
