Hotel Rival

We enjoyed an outstanding stay in your hotel. Fantastic hotel on the right spot in Stockholm. Very polite, hospitable and helpfull staff. Good food (breakfast) and lunch (Tavernan Rival).

Excellent location and friendly staff

A truly fabulous experience at Hotel Rival. The service was incredibly friendly, informative and welcoming. Our room was super comfortable and I’d recommend a balcony room as the view of the pretty park and square was serene, joyful, fun and entertaining. Thanks team Rival we loved our stay!

The only thing I didn’t like is that I had to leave!! I wanted to stay forever! Because this is an absolutely lovely hotel. Location is GREAT - you can walk to Gamla Stan or take the metro - that’s literally a 90 second walk away. Super convenient Great neighborhood - and we LOVED our room. We wanted a quiet room away from everything on a high floor - and Michelle made that happen for us. Many props to her - and Svedje for all of the recommendations! They are both rockstars!! Also enjoyed seeing them both when we returned from our day and they asked us how it was :) Breakfast was also very good - loved that we could order what we wanted à la carte - or get anything from the buffet. And those energy shots! Mmm Make sure you mix them with orange juice :) Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you all again SO MUCH!!!

The hotel staff was exceptionally nice and helpful and we asked a lot of questions of them. The bathroom was very nice with a heated floor and excellent, well-fitted hot water shower. The breakfast was quite excellent and varied and guests could get made to order items as part of the cost for all rooms. The hotel faces a lovely park and one can sit outside on two floors for drinks and food in the evening. There is also free 24 hr. tea, coffee and cookies on the 4th floor. The room window opened for fresh air.

We had one of the least expensive rooms with twin beds as requested, limited storage and it was relatively small but had a desk, TV, good lighting. The TV was a bit outdated and didn't seem to be a smart TV, but this was minor. They did have a video player with older movies.

We loved this hotel! The breakfast was great, the decor was fabulous and my personal favourite was the pillow menu!! The staff were very helpful too.

A truly great hotel, thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The hotel decor is extremely opulent, contemporary yet charming. The staff were incredible, really helpful and friendly. Michelle on the front desk was a breathe of fresh air! Really helpful, everything you want from frontline staff. I'll defo be back!

The ambience is truly unique. This hotel is certainly for those who can understand and appreciate the Swedish bohemian lifestyle.
