Hotel Restaurant Wessinger

Hotel located in residential area of Neu-Isenburg right in front of forest. You can walk to shops and shopping center (about 20 mins). It has a great restaurant with absolutely delicious pastries. Staff was super nice and helpful. Airport about a 20 minute ride. Breakfast was nice - not wonderful - but very adequate. Nice homey atmosphere. You cannot sleep with windows open as you hear airplanes taking off continually but when you close windows you hear nothing. I need ventilation so I asked for a fan which they supplied which solved my problem as you cannot control temp or fan in room. Europeans tend to keep indoors VERY warm. Beds very comfortable - room was small but good for me. NiceTV - great clean bathroom with good water pressure. Carpets are stained and need to be changed. Will definitely go back as long as they supply a fan for me. Needs "do not disturb" signs for doors so housekeeping does not knock on at 8 a.m.

Great hotel and only 20 minutes from downtown Frankfurt. We always stay here when visiting the city. Much more affordable. Family run with great food, drink and bakery.

The only thing affecting comfort was the heat. We had one room with A/C and we were comfortable. The second room without A/C was over 100 degrees. Rooms need fans. This is one of the warmest summers they are having. The staff was very friendly, informative, and accommodating. The restaurant was delicious. I would stay again in and A/C room or a cooler season.

Great value with a good attached restaurant close to the airport and a grocery store with walking trails nearby. Hotel does not have air conditioning which is an issue when it is hot

We stayed at this hotel 25 years ago, and it is still as wonderful as it was then! Our dinner was fabulous and the service welcoming. We slept well and it doesn't get much better than that.

It is a family owned hotel (since over 100 years) which is very well known for their fabulous pastries. Friendly staff and very personal. The rooms were spacious and comfortable (we booked the larger rooms which sleep three guests). Hotel is close to a forest - great for runners! If you are sensitive to noise from airplanes, you should not stay here. During the night there is no airplane traffic. My kids loved the indoor pool- it was not huge, but sufficient to swim and play. Very nice breakfast buffet in the morning!

A cozy place to stay. Loved freshly baked bread for breakfast. Was not impressed by dinner.

Was only there for the night, very clean, very friendly, felt like home. Nice and warm and welcoming. I had a suite which was very large and comfortable. Has a lovely resteraunt, albeit not a very large selection, after a couple of days you'd have probably tried all of it. There is homemake cake counter, not good if your trying to lose weight, and all the chocolate you can imagine. Would highly recommend!!. only 10 mins from Frank Main

My biggest complaint is that the hotel is in the middle of no where. It's perfect for a business layover, but taxi rides anywhere will cost you. It's not even that close to the airport.

My family of 4 (including two children) stayed at this hotel for one night. It was a great experience! The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the room was large, clean, and stylish. The pool, which is long and narrow, is designed for lap-swimming, but my children enjoyed it nonetheless. This hotel is located in a quiet suburb of Frankfurt, and it not far from the airport. The taxi cost around 25 Euros. The nearest subway station is some distance away (maybe a 15-20 minute walk), but it goes through a very pleasant neighborhood. It only costs 9.20 Euros for a one-day family pass to go anywhere in the city (except the airport). It costs 15 Euros to purchase a one-day family pass that includes the airport. The breakfast was outstanding. There is a large park across the street from the hotel, which includes a bicycle/walking trail.
