Xenones Filotera

Pros: The view and common area are amazing. The rooms are big and beds comfortable. Cons: bathroom is outdated and tiny.

The staff at the Xenones Filotera is first rate, excellent, and they take care of you like you are family! I can’t rave about them enough! They helped us find the right tours, excursions, and places to eat. They called for our taxi service and made sure we were safely home every night. They used their inside knowledge of the island to get us the best dining and sunset experiences. The view of the Caldera is breathtaking. The accommodations were clean and very comfortable. It’s an ideal, picturesque location. Thank you Xenones Filotera for making our Santorini experience magical!

They didn’t clean our room properly (or at all) until we asked them to on the first day. The staff were not properly led or trained so were sloppy and unprofessional.

Hotel Staff and services are the best during our 18 day trip in Greece. Location is great and quite. Breakfast is very good. Great place to review Sunset in June.

Exceptional service and facilities. I travelled to Santorini with my two daughters for a family holiday and the staff at Xenones Filotera made sure that it was a most relaxing and memorable stay. The location between Thira and Oia was ideal, away from the crowds, however, easy access to everything with a bus stop virtually at the front door. Incredible views of the Aegean Sea on both sides of the resort, fantastic pool and service with a smile. Loved every minute of it!

We were there for 5 days, from the time we got there to the taxi ride to the airport, we were not disappointed. The views were spectacular, sunsets were breath taking. We would go back in a heartbeat.

From beginning to end, we were treated like royalty! Cristos went above and beyond to make sure our trip was exceptional. Cannot more highly recommend. Perfectly situated just out of the way of everything if you would like peace, quiet, and a hotel, without many stairs to access the property. Do plan on some sort of transportation whether it's your own ATV, budget for taxis, or the bus as it's about a 30 min walk uphill to Imerovigli proper. Great views of both Mediterranean and Aegean.

Brilliant hotel - staff excellent, great food, great views

Could have had somewhere to eat breakfast and dinner under cover/protected when windy. Could have used heaters at dinner.

We were beyond impressed by the customer service at this hotel. They were individually attentive to all guests. There was not a single member of staff who crossed or path who didn’t greet us with a smile. The hotel was clean and well maintained. The breakfast buffet offered slightly different selection each day, catering to all diets and palettes. The restaurant and bar offered a good selection of food and drinks. The pool and private jacuzzis were cleaned and checked everyday. There were an abundance of towels available poolside. The hotel dropped of new towels daily for the jacuzzi in addition to bathroom towels. The service desk took care of any requests we had. Room service was prompt and efficient. The hotel helped with arranging cars, airport transfers and ATV’s. The property itself is situated on the Caldera side of the island with breathtaking views of the ocean. The area is quiet and away from the busyness of Fira or Oia, ideal for couples. The neighboring towns are easily accessible by car, ATV or local bus. There is a walking trail that is parallel to the hotel which allows you to walk along the cliffs and take in all the views. Amazing hotel with outstanding customer service.
