Xenones Filotera

This small quaint resort overlooks the incredible caldera basin with magnificent views. Many people flock to Oiu on the northern tip of Santorini to view the sunsets. However, we thought the sunsets were comparable from our patio.

Very clean, nice pool and amazing view of sunsets.. nice selection for breakfast. Only shortcoming is that it’s pretty far from Fira where most of the night life is

Hotel staff was excellent, everyone was so nice and accommodating. The location which is in between the capitol and Oia was perfect. No stair climbing, and I think this place has the best sunset views on the island. In my opinion better than the sunset views on Oia. Anything you need whether booking a tour, taxi, car rental, atv rental and restaurant reservations, they can take care of for you. So nice to have peace, quiet and be worry free.

Its a very nice Hotel, with beautiful views, great Breakfast, nice pool and very friendly and attentive staff. Never had any concerns. They even helped us book and arrange our transportation and bookings

This place was absolutely amazing! We stayed for our honeymoon and it was truly the best decision! Imerovigli is a quiet town between Oía and Fira, which makes it an ideal location for couples! The staff was so friendly and accommodating and they helped book many of our excursions as well as made the best recommendations for lunch and dinner places! Our room was cave like, clean and spacious! Breakfast is offered daily with a variety of foods- all delicious! The drinks are spectacular (we drank Mojitos and their Pornstar special every day!). We also had dinner there a few nights because the food and sunset views were amazing! Would definitely stay here again!

It was a great time; the management team did a great job with everything. They were very helpful and nice. Also, use the bus since they are 99% cheaper than the flat rate of €25 for anywhere you go. You are right in the middle of everything and away from busy places on the island.

Good location with views of caldera. Decent breakfast. Definitely need transportation to get to either Fira or Oia unless you’re up for long walks.

We enjoyed our stay. Everything was perfect. The grounds were very clean, the room was spotless, the restaurant was excellent with deliciously prepared food and a friendly, prompt service. The staff is courteous and friendly. Great place to stay in Santorini.

What wasn’t to like? The whole experience here was top notch! The staff was amazing. Immediately upon check in, we got a 20 minute presentation from Kostos at the front desk on the Island history, activities, how to get around, and specifics of the hotel. We were welcomed with a sweet treat and a drink. They upgraded our room, and everything about the property was lovely- the view, the pool, the wonderful breakfast, and the size & cleanliness of the rooms. I would absolutely stay here again. The only thing I would recommend for other guests is to know that you can’t drink tap water anywhere on the island, including the hotel. So you’ll need to buy bottled water. And the pool is closed pretty early - so you can’t get in it in the evening when you get back from Fira or elsewhere (it would be great if the hot tub were hot and you could use it in the evening, but this is a small thing). There was also a smell in the room, but I think it was ant spray, and that is better than having ants- again a very small thing in relation to what a wonderful place this is. I highly recommend Filotera!
