I was expecting a room near the mountain cliff. We didn’t have a nice view of the valley which was the main reason of the trip.

I've been to the park several times, but this was my first time staying in the hotel. Room was nice, clean, plenty of towels. I stayed 3 nights. Nice to have the dining near by, good food. Many hiking trails. Beautiful sunsets. Balcony is nice to sit out on, not the best view on the first floor blocked by all the trees, but that didnt bother me. Heating and AC. I will definitely come back. More convenient to stay in the park vs. Staying outside and having to drive in every day.

This is a nice lodge on stunning, forested grounds on a mountainside. The views from the public areas (and many rooms) are gorgeous. The room is spotless and well appointed.

The view from our room facing west was beautiful at sunset. The room was comfortable and had a tv and refrigerator. It was an accessible room so we did appreciate the space. I did not request an accessible room but the location was great. One of the only disappointments was the food and bar service. We did have an excellent ribeye steak the first night. Breakfast was good. Some of the menu items sounded great (french toast) but were underwhelming. One evening i ordered an Old Fashioned from the pub bar. It came very watered down. I asked for a replacement which just had a little more bourbon in it. I dont think the bartender knew how to make one.

Beautiful cabins in a wooded area with plenty of road to walk and hike on. Inside was cozy with a beautiful poach to sit out and relax on. Only wish the room had a small refrigerator, as we need to keep medications cool, but the ice machine was conveniently outside our door.

Great view!!

Room was clean and spacious. Location is fantastic for Shenandoah national park. Food in the dining room was excellent. Views of the park from the hotel are amazing Only issue for me was location claimed two EV charging plugs and only one worked.
