Quality Inn & Suites Loves Park near Rockford

It served as adequate lodging and sufficiently nutritious breakfast. Expected items for a typical hotel room were present. The condition of the hotel did not noticeably detract from the quality of our trip, and it was relatively affordable.

Garbage hadn't been taken out when we got there - two full bins by the sink. We moved it to the hallway on the second day and it finally disappeared. Bathroom door didn't latch, toilet wobbly. A general vague sense of disinvestment that may or may not have been incidental to the winter season.

Staff was polite and flexible about the no-pool situation. Room was clean.

I picked this hotel for the pool: pool was closed. Used the exercise room instead - some equipment not working and no cups for water. Then in my room there was coffee and no tea. Asked desk for tea and they said coffee was only choice for rooms. Looked toward ceiling and saw smoke detector was open with no battery in it.

The room had roaches

I liked the fresh fruit, sausage, peanut butter as they are "gluten free" options. Any Gluten Free choices are very appreciated and I appreciate tea provided.

I was missing a light bulb in one of the lamps next to the bed.

They could have maid service after 2 or 3 nights. I was staying 6 nights & had to ask for supplies several times.

Convenience

Cigarette burn in bed even though it's no smoking and the wifi didn't work. I didn't complain though so it could've been operater error
