The hotel was ok

They said they cannot find my reservation that I booked with you, therefore my employee had to buy the same room again, So I paid for the room twice,

A good location to where I was going

The first room they gave me, I got to the room and the door was ajar. I walked in and it smelled horrible. I inspect the room to see if anyone had been in there, that looked ok but I looked in the bathroom. Some feces on the wall by the toilet paper roll, toilet paper had stains on it and possibly feces. Dirt in the corners of the bathroom. I went downstairs and explained the issue. He told me it was the only room left and he went to go check the room. He came back down and said he has one other room he can give me and if I don’t like it, then they would just give me back my money. The second room was great, I thought. It smelled good and was clean. Until I got into the bathroom, dirt in the corners, and then when I went to go flush the toilet, the handle of the toilet was broken off from the inside of the toilet. So I manually had to lift the plunger so the toilet would empty and fill back up. I got in late at night and I was exhausted. So I just stayed in the room for the night and I left as early as I could the next morning. There was no staff at the front desk when I left for Me to explain the issues so I just left.
