Klassisches schnörkelloses Hilton Hotel. Kann man nicht viel falsch machen, preislich aber etwas zu teuer für das Gebotene.

Die aufgezogene Bettdecke war für den Winter etwas zu dünn und wenig gemütlich.

Comfortable. Vanessa’s reception was exceptional. Most of the other staff were very helpful.

Very helpful front desk staff. Great location for the Tarrytown area.

Booked room with 2 queen beds and a sofa bed. Arrived did not have room available only had 1 queen and sofa bed yet still was charged the same amount. Told at check in due to snow people arriving needed rooms due to weather and ran out availability

My stay was one night, December 13, 2025. The purpose of the stay was to attend a National Fraternity's local Chapter's Alumni Club Holiday event at an Elk's Lodge on the other side of the river. The hotel was an easy 20-minute drive from the rental car area at HPN (Westchester County Airport). The parking is tight at the hotel entrance. I'm a handicap placard holder, and there were five spaces allocated for handicap patrons. I got to the front desk and was greeted. My estimated arrival time was 3:00 pm. Due to flight delays, I arrived closer to 5:30 pm. My keys were ready, I noticed my card was already charged, I handed my ID, and away I went to the room. I was told my room, #104, was on the first floor and to take the elevator down. I was confused, wasn't it on the first floor? It had to be explained a few times (I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed), the lobby is on the 3rd floor, the parking lot is on a hill, the structure of the hotel is in a valley. My room is on the first floor. It did sink in. Off into the elevator I go, a short trip around the corner. Once I exit the elevator, I turn left, and now I'm at room 118. I requested a roll-in shower for the room. I'm an above-knee amputee, and a regular tub usually isn't easy. At the front desk, I was told all the roll in the shower rooms were on the first floor. I haven't stayed in many hotels since the amputation, maybe 4 all Marriott Brand, and this is the 2nd hotel where the handicap rooms were the furthest away from the elevator. I don't understand this design at all. Someone was not thinking about convenience of a person walking with a cane, crutch, or rolling in a wheelchair. I enter the room, and the HVAC unit is on full blast, and the temperature is 54 degree Farenheit. I'm not a fan of these wall units, I prefer a central HVAC system as they are quieter. I make the change to temperature, change the setting from cooling to heat, and it starts to warm up. I turn on all the lights. ALL OF THEM! The room is still very dark. The room is very spacious, however there isn't enough lighting in the room. There is a light over the wet bar area, a light on the desk, and two lights over the king bed. It was very dark, an additional lamp or two would be nice. The bathroom is nice. Clean, big (with a phone, how 1990s) and a spacious roll in shower. The bathing liquids are bolted to the wall which is a pain. I noticed there isn't a folding seat from the wall for a wheel chair user. I rectified this when I went up to the 3rd floor to leave for the party stopping at the front desk to request a shower chair. I let the staff know I wouldn't be in the room for a bit and the chair could be left in there during my absence. It was. The shower head is a bit clunky. Instead of feeding the shower head into a loop to keep it mounted to the mechanism, it had this extra mount to feed into a screw looking type thing. Seemed unnecessary to do that. There was some activity at the bar when I arrived at 5:30 pm, gone when i got back from the party at 11:20 pm. I didn't partake in the breakfast. Check out was easy and friendly. It did snow there on the 14th, part of the polar vortex. The parking lot nor side walk was properly cleared, especially the sidewalk by the handicap spaces. Again, people without a disability not actively thinking on how to make a person with a disability's life a bit more accomodating and less stressful. It was an o.k. stay, it could have been better.
