It smelled like mold, the rooms were overpriced for what you got. There were holes, cracks, and stains throughout the room. The shower was dirty. No counter space to put anything. The breakfast was not good either

Hello, So sorry I did some neutral ratings. Just sorry as I tried to change my overnight stay due to family , my now 98 year old Mom, Dorothy Wehrman, here in Tampa needs a bit if extra assistance at times. Married to my Dad, Ricahr B. Wehrman for 64 years who was in World War II. We lost him 10 years ago this month in February. Anniversary. He is buried at the Florida National Cemetery. I haven't been up there in a while as we all know it can be "emotional". I don't blame the hotel in any way and probably you get many notes like mine. I had been flexible to move to any possible date as we are here... After being in the hotel industry/hospitality, for 35 years myself. I totally understand sold out situations and Revpar. Plus the varied situations that accur at hotels. Although I also understand the 🎢 roller coaster of the industry it sure was I treating and you get to help so many people. I would not change it by selecting it as a career for at all.. (never boring). One day I will return and I want you to know it is all ok. I never liked to have to follow the rules which are there for a reason. Just felt like letting you know about them and thank you for listening. Guess the request for comments made me think of things.... Absolutely not asking for anything and thanks for letting me speak of him as I have been so beyond concerned with all the things going on with this Iran war. I already wrote a review...but the hotel is old and in need of updates for sure. There is no where else to stay around here. The walls are paper thin so we could hear the man next door snoring. The bath tub drain was not working. Towels are very think. Althoug they touch up the room, they did not replace coffee or cups or makeup removed pad. They didn't vacuum after one night stay. Surprisingly the mattress wasn't bad at all. The manager took very long to check us in even though we had already checked in on line. He was training front desk personnel. But checking out, they could not tell me the total amount of my stay (she said it was be emailed). The best was the pancake machine that was pretty cool! The coffee could also be a little stronger and not coffee water.

The room, the bathroom, the towels

The staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was clean. There were plenty choices for breakfast, and my family and I felt safe. Well lit parking and right across the street from Love's truck stop.

Front desk personnel and the room housekeeper were kind and helpful.

I cleaned with disinfectant wipes, end tables, tel., desk area leftover dirt on toilet tank cover, and residue all over. The shower head sprayed water everywhere, and the rug was dirty as well.

The room had large watermarks on Ceiling shower tub spout was sticking out of wall.The cieling above shower had black spots don't know if it was Mold.Who ever cleaned did not check shower very well because left previous guest shower gel on top of ldge of shower.
