Stay at Alice Springs Hotel

Location is nice and central. The room was ok. Didn't try the restaurant. Staff were very helpful.

The pool looked nothing like the photos. It's in the shade, mostly under a building. I was not tempted to try it. The basin had a major crack in it. Quite small shower. Air conditioning controller didn't show the temperature and was hard to get the room cool at the start.

Once I was in the room I paid for it was cozy and comfortable

Staff. Check in was an issue, I was not given the room I paid for. Staff said it wasn’t their issue and to take it up with booking agent. Asked to speak to manager, Staff didn’t call manager, kept serving people, asked again and refused. Eventually was given room I paid for. No apology no accountability or responsibility taken. I understand mistakes can be made, and staff was alone, yet the attitude was not pleasant nor helpful.
