Hilton Garden Inn Portland Downtown Waterfront

Convenient to everything. Room was clean. I got text messages each day to see if I needed anything. Prompt delivery of towels when needed. Would stay here again. Also loved the valet parking.

No issues to report.

Traveling on Christmas Eve and all the planes gang agley, I missed the last boat to Peaks Island. The hotel is just across the street from Casco Bay Lines, the hotel was perfect, and in the winter it is less expensive than the water taxi. The water taxi is a small, semi-enclosed boat which would have been miserable - if they had agreed to go at all. The hotel was clean, quiet, the desk clerk was lovely, the bed was comfortable. My only regret was no bathing suit so no morning hot tub. I may do it again on purpose sometime.

Pleasantly surprised. Very nice, clean hotel. Friendly and pleasant staff, cozy interior. Breakfast could be a bit nicer, and maybe more tables in the restaurant not to wait for almost 40 mins to sit down, but other than that everything is great.

Size of the restaurant. Luck of larger towels in the pool area. All towels were tiny like a hand towel.

The location is perfect for an overnight trip. Valet parking, we walked to dinner, then got coffee and our car was quickly brought to us the next morning.

I asked for the water view and got a partial water view. I would have appreciated knowing it would only be a partial water view, and not full like the photo I saw.

Had a great experience at this hotel! We had a retirement party for a colleague across the street and the hotel location is perfect for events on the waterfront in Portland. The room was clean and well-appointed. The staff was very helpful; the bar and lounge area had a nice fireplace and a helpful bartender that made yummy cocktails. Will definitely stay here next time I'm in Portland!

The staff at the Hilton Garden Inn, Portland was so attentive. I recently organized a business group to go to this hotel and they were so helpful in the entire process. The hotel was in a great location and maintained really nicely. Rooms were clean, and they even had hot cider in the lobby!
