Fantastic hotel and nicely located between Palma and Portals. Staff were always very friendly and the service was excellent. We didn't have the slightest issue with anything during our stay and would highly recommend the Hospes Marciel to everyone.

This hotel is amazing! Overlooking beautiful rock formations and crystal clear water. Loved being able to walk down steps to the ocean for a swim and eat breakfast overlooking the water. Attentive service and fantastic drinks by the pool (Sangrias were perfection).From beginning to end our stay there was incredible. The front desk staff went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. The food was SOOO good we ate there two nights in a row (Anna, our waitress was so sweet and attentive and the bartender made the best drinks).

Beautiful location by the sea, super friendly and helpful staff. A small minus for the noise of the road that made its way to the room in the annex building.

Would advise to stay in main hotel, rooms across the street are lovely but the road is very noisy and unless you are on upper level partial sea view only. Staff are amazing so helpful.

Disgusting management terrible

Beautiful property, amazing views, first rate staff and well located in walking distance or short taxi ride from Palma center and shops and restaurant. Small beach is right next to hotel. Huge pool area with bar and cabanas - very nicely done and not crowded or noisy. Relaxing and quiet resort with upscale clientele and a fantastic breakfast served on the terrace. We had a great time!

We visited the Hospes for our honeymoon and liked it so much that we decided to stay an extra day. It is situated in a small town about a 10 minute drive from Palma. It was very convenient to have restaurants / bars locally, as well as larger Palma very accessible. We stayed in the Eco building, which is a separate building across the street that has the same modern style as the spa. If you like a more classic style, I recommend staying in the Palace rooms as these are the marble ones in the main building. That said, the walk to the pool has a purpose built walkway that goes under the road so the resort feels more cohesive than you might think given the 2 buildings. The pool is as great as it looks and the staff is fantastic! It is also worth noting that a car is a great way to see the island and the resort has reasonable (14 euro / day) parking on site!
