The Star Inn

Loved the location and the pantry was a bonus! It was reasonably priced relative to other places we looked at. Parking lot was great to have too, though on first night, it was a full house so there were 19 spots (2 less than the 21 units), so we had to park on the street. Fortunately, in January you don't have to pay for parking on the street! It was nice and warm in the suite.

Sofa bed was uncomfortable. There were no blankets for the sofa bed. The bathroom electrical outlet didn't work, but fortunately the bedroom had a mirror right above the outlet so I could blow-dry my hair. The heat cycled on and off and made quite a bit of noise whenever it started blowing again.

The location is perfect. Right in town and close to get everything.

I've been staying here for several years. I have always been very happy with my room in the past, but this time there was a miscommunication and I had a much smaller room. The bathroom was uncomfortably small. The shower door did not close properly and water was leaking on the bathroom floor. This caused the carpet near the bathroom door to become damp. We tried to use towels to stop the leakage, but the carpet outside of the bathroom was still affected. The room did not have a refrig. We asked the front desk and they sent one to the room but it blocked the closet door and it made a lot of noise. We ended up unplugging it and not using it.

This property is a great location with many things within walking distance. You also have a beautiful view of the beach/ocean on the 2nd & 3rd floor. The staff is amazing and very friendly.

When booking our room we were under the impression we would have a different room due to the pictures advertised for the room we payed for. We did not get the room that was advertised which was very disappointing & misleading. I would highly suggest taking photos of the actual individual rooms so people are aware of where they will be staying . The rooms are all nice, but the photos are misleading. The only room advertised and shown is the very top room with the best view and it is not a guarantee that you will actually get that room. I believe that could be improved but over all this is a very nice place.
