Beautiful hotel in perfect quiet location. Close to the hiking trails, lake views, everything was great.

Pool closed for maintenance, noone informed us, we just noticed a card on the door when we were about to use it. As lovely as the hotel is, the walls are so thin that we were woken up multiple times at night because of snoring coming out of the adjacent room, you can literally hear everything that's going on in the rooms next to you. We had fireplace room and the fireplace was barely working.

"Beautiful building in gorgeous surrounds but needs a little finesse"

6.0

Amazing historic building in beautiful surroundings.

In the main building the plumbing is old and audibly knocks all night, leaving me with a long drive on precious little sleep. Advised by the staff that this is noted on the website but I didn't spot it so perhaps it could be more prominent. I had lots of bags as I was travelling long distance but no-one offered help despite watching me struggle making 5 trips up the stairs (no lift/elevator)

"We’ll definitely be back for a longer stay!!"

8.0

Clean quiet, stayed in the annex, down closer to the lake. Hiked to the lake and the old tree. Just a quick overnight. It helped to reset our spirits!

That there weren’t enough hours to stay! We had to get back on the road at 3:00 a.m. to be in Eugene by 11:00 a.m. it would have been nice to have a pick-up meal to go! But so glad there was someone there to check us out.

"Sad national park lodge"

4.0

While I appreciate that this is a historic lodge, the rooms are so far substandard as to be laughable. Almost $200/night--are you joking!? The furniture is old and beaten up like at a rundown Motel 6. The Lodge rooms have no air conditioning and are very stuffy. I'm glad to hear that some people have Lake views. My view is of an asphalt rooftop and a dilapidated building about 8 ft from my window. There are very few plugs in the room so there are extension cords run all over. Dangerous situation. Good luck finding a plug to charge your phone. Forget about working on a laptop here as there is no workspace whatsoever. These rooms are not good for anyone with mobility impairments as you actually have to step up to use the toilet which is on a very small platform. I can imagine how many people have tripped and fallen with this bathroom situation. There's no ice machine in the Main Lodge and no refrigerators in these rooms so don't bring anything that requires refrigeration. Like medicine. It is sad that lodgings in our precious national parks are in such a rundown state.

Location was great, great view of the lake, comfortable. Loved playing games in lodge. Close to great hiking trails.

Disappointed that the dining room was closed for repairs.

"Beautiful Historic Lodge Right on the Lake"

10.0

What a wonderful setting for this well-maintained historic lodge. It's directly on Lake Quinault, with access to a small beach. The lodge has a Great Room that you would expect from its beginning 100 years ago. Super-comfy chairs to read, while enjoying the fireplace. Also, each night a guest played beautifully on the piano. A real step back in time. Rooms are very comfortable, but it's the location and Great Room that really shine.
