Allurity Hotel

The hotel was central close to Salamanca markets, battery point, the night fest. There are plenty of shops and restaurants close by.

We stayed for 3 nights and the room was clean but we requested if they could clean our room as we wanted fresh bedding but they said they would have to charge us for that. The room can be noisy at night as it is opposite a busy pub.

Location was great, staff were friendly and overall had no issues :)

The location. That's it.

I genuinely don't know how this property has the reviews it does. The reception area was shabby and immediately gave a poor first impression. Unfortunately, things only went downhill from there. The room itself felt more like a rundown dormitory than a hotel room. Two single beds were positioned near the only window, while the queen bed was bizarrely hidden behind a large cupboard placed in the middle of the room, blocking almost all natural light. I've never seen a room layout quite so absurd. The walls and carpet were heavily scuffed, stained and visibly dirty. The carpet was so unpleasant that we were reluctant to take our shoes off. The bathroom was laughably bad. The shower cubicle was so small you could barely turn around, and the shower head had to be positioned almost horizontally just to hit our heads. We're both average-height adults, so it's hard to imagine who this shower was designed for. Most disappointing of all, the Booking.com photos bore little resemblance to reality and were highly misleading. I would not recommend this property to anyone. In fact, I wouldn't wish a stay here on my worst enemy.

Great location. Fabulous service from the lady at the front desk. Comfy bed. Hot shower.

The property is outdated. The lift was very unclean. It paid not to look up in the bathroom. Crowded family room with unnecessary furniture making one side of the bed inaccessible.

Close to everything. Easy to drive to....

Having to pay for parking when you already pay for accomodation and then parking on top of that... Parking undercover was extremely tight....
