Clarion Inn Idaho Falls Riverfront

Nothing! Best hotel stay on our week-long trip. New owners are doing a great job!

The room was clean and bed was comfortable.

The room was outdated with worn furniture and no thermostat, just the fan/air under the window. The pool was very cloudy, didn’t think it looked okay to swim in. The breakfast consisted of make your own waffles, sausage, some muffins, white bread to toast, and burned eggs. The front desk person was expected to also keep up with breakfast duties. The same picture of a brown cornfield was in multiple places in the room and hotel, interesting.

Front staff were friendly

Our room was not good, when you turn on bathroom light it also turns on bathroom fan which sounded like A car without a muffler going. The breakfast was not good, stale muffins, instant eggs that tasted burnt, only one waffle maker and so many people lined up, it just wasn’t possible to get a waffle. Room felt dirty, yellow ring around the bathroom sink. Elevator sounded like it was going to stop working. Bathroom outlet didn’t work.

Jeather at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. They have put a lot of effort into updating the property and making it nicer. The price is great and is right downtown. I would absolutely stay there again.

I think the hot tub might have been a little over chlorinated but that's me been picky.

Very clean and comfortable room, pool was nice and warm, breakfast was delicious and plentiful!

The sliding door to the bathroom wouldn't stay closed too well so maybe that could be fixed for better privacy?

The location and the exalant service from Heather at the front desk. Who was very nice,patient and made sure we were comfortably satisfied with our room after having to change 3 times... do to dirty ness and smells. Thank you so much Heather!!

How dirty the rooms were, not properly cleaned 1st room smelled like dog pee and was filthy. 2nd room smelled like cigarettes and the 3rd room we stayed in had broken wall plugs broken hair dryer and is cheaply maintenanced.. also the hall way smelled like paint fumes very strongly due to remodeling that was happening. Also guest should really learn to pick up after their dogs like I did, every time.. poop everywhere in the grass areas. Hotel really needs a whole remodel make over. The towels all had stains too which was hard to tell if it was stains or dirty..definitely didn't smell like bleach... yuk. And the doors did not lock entering many of the entry ways... unsafe!! But other then all that we slept comfortably and it was mostly quite in our hallway.

Location was great, walked the riverwalk right behind the hotel and a few blocks to Jakers for dinner.

Bathroom floor and shower should have been cleaned better.

It quick and good.
