Super 8 by Wyndham Crossville TN

The evening receptionist was fantastic! She really made you feel welcome. The day shift person could work on their people skills.

The room had a funny smell and although I liked being next to the elevator, some of the guests didn't know how to act in a couple. Had a screaming match where they proceeded to cuss each other out right outside my door.

The locale was perfect for my needs. Room was clean & comfortable. Fairly quiet during night even though I was right by the elevator. Staff was friendly.

My one huge complaint was motorcycles that started up under the porte cochere at dawn & my room was directly over the front door so the sound was amazingly loud and soon exhaust was filtering into the room through the air conditioning vent. No escape. This was not the staff’s fault, but it made my stay super-frustrating in the morning. Could the staff have asked the cyclists to move away from the front door? Probably. But they didn’t so I was just supposed to deal with it. I did call the front desk and the employee I spoke to was empathetic, but was not proactive.

De meneer achter de receptie, was ook de meneer die voor het ontbijt zorgde. Alles was op, er werd weinig bijgevuld (wat er bij te vullen viel want dit ontbijt was zo minimaal) en alles was zonder ook maar enige glimlach. Het ergste van alles was dat het hotel zo gehorig was, dat er ergens midden in de nacht een kind aan het huilen was dat het hele hotel er wakker van werd. Mensen waren op de deuren aan het bonken en de kamer van onze buren waren zo gehorig dat we vanaf 5uur alweer wakker waker omdat hun vroeg weg gingen. In hoeverre er geslapen is want de bedden waren ook niet prettig. Al met al echt een slechte ervaring en absoluut het geld niet waard.

Breakfast was sufficient; not great. 2 kinds of juice. 2 cereals. One kind of bread for toast. Waffles. Could have had a little more to offer.
