Jamaica Inn

It’s all about relaxation at the Jamaica Inn. A fantastic, secluded beach, great family-owned operation and none of the noise and activity buzz you find in the corporate resorts.

This place is superb in every way. The location, the staff, the level of service, the rooms are all top of the line. Jamaica Inn is an institution here, and deservedly so.

I hated leaving it.

We really loved the service and the pristine beach. This is a very special hotel with a family feel. Jamaican hospitality was at its best. We will come again!

A relaxed stay at a hotel with an old world vibe. Tea at four on the terrace and collared shirts and no open-toed shoes after seven certainly sets a standard, but maybe one at odds with modern day values. But definitely better than a chain hotel with no soul.

The resort is well presented, beach is beautiful, staff are friendly and alot of fun. Very private and live band in the evening was very good.

Limited food menu. Can be a little expensive. Room Service charge is high, considering what the locals are paid the costs charged do not reflect wages. Hotel uses a private taxi firm which charges about 1000% over the standard taxi fair charge. I think the rate should be transparent. Fixed charges should be agreed in advance. I felt as I was robbed. I paid $30.00 for a 3 min taxi ride!!

We were greeted with “Welcome Home” at the Jamaica Inn on arrival and that’s how we felt our entire stay! This is a special place where you can feel the effort that is being made in making everyone, guests and staff, feel like part of family. The place is gorgeous beyond words, and there is a relaxing calm vibe. The food was incredible and there were excellent activities offered (rum tasting, trip to the farmer‘s market, baby sea turtle hatching). And then just spontaneous moments of joy mixed in, like watching a croquet game with Ashalene at Teddy’s bar or Carter singing at the piano at night. We had an incredible vacation and will definitely be back!
