Hyatt House White Plains

I recently stayed at Hyatt House White Plains and came away genuinely impressed. From the moment I arrived, the staff set the tone — warm, welcoming, and consistently friendly throughout my visit. The location is tucked away from the noise and bustle, and it is a great option to visit throughout he Westchester area. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, with an apartment-style layout that makes an extended stay feel like home rather than a hotel. The full kitchen, separate living area, and thoughtful storage made it easy to settle in. Everything was spotlessly clean — the facilities clearly receive care and attention. The property itself is full of amenities: a well-equipped gym, comfortable common areas, and all the little conveniences that add up to a stress-free stay. Breakfast is included and offers a solid spread, though I'd love to see the hotel make a move toward more sustainable options — reusable or compostable cups would be a simple but meaningful upgrade. A bit more variety in the breakfast rotation would also go a long way for longer stays. Overall, Hyatt House White Plains delivers exactly what it promises: a quiet, clean, spacious, and comfortable stay with the feel of a well-run apartment. Highly recommended for both leisure and business travelers.

Room size.

The 1st night we had the do not disturb sign and never went to clean the room. Have to take towels and tp from the carts in the hallways.

4/7 night reservation clerk was exceptionally nice and helpful. I think her name is Naisha

Toilet VERY hard to flush

There was no one available to check me in for over an hour upon arrival. No one present was able to provide a reasonable explanation for why the reception area was unattended. After waiting, it took an additional hour for a staff member to finally assist us. While the security guard, Rory, and the gentleman at the bar did their best to help, they were unable to check guests in or offer assistance beyond basic support and calming frustrated guests. This was a very disappointing experience and not something I have ever encountered at a hotel. Due to the significant inconvenience, I will be requesting a refund. I will not recommend this location.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hyatt House White Plains. The property was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere felt welcoming. I also appreciated the spacious room and the convenience of the amenities provided. The location was great and made it easy to get around.
