Train noise, and I was charged well above what booking .com said. Felt like I was tricked by booking .com false advertising

The staff! The front desk agent has no concept of “the customer experience “. The room was freezing cold and the bed only had sheets and a paper-thin comforter. I called for a blanket and picked it up at the front desk. The same agent came to my room seconds after ai got back (even though she refused to bring me the blanket) , turned a swamp cooler heater on , TOLD me I no longer needed a blanket and physically kept trying tog to pull it out if my hands when I told her I still needed it and planned to use it. She threatened me. I repeatedly told her to get out and leave my room. She would not. The next door customer yelled at us to be quiet and I again told her to leave my room. That is when she finally left and threatened me again. She has issues and made a blanket (that I needed) her “control” issue. I honesty felt I was in a battle-torn third world country being made to justify why I wanted something I needed and being threatened that I could not have it or I would me “dealt with”. It was shameful. She, the night front desk agent IS unprofessional and her behavior IS SHAMEFUL.

This location is close to the train station. The staff was so helpful and a hard worker.

The facilities were rather run down and didn't have all the amenities.

These people don't know how to run a hotel.

There is never anyone in the office. There office is locked.

Parking lot small and tight. Room was upstars and hard to locate front desk had no site maps. When we got to room toilet backing up called front desk told me to come get the plunger and clear it myself. Later the maintenance guy showed up as I was unable to clear it, he did get it working but we were afraid to use it It was a good location for downtown access to restaurants and taverns within walking distance, afraid to leave parking lot as we may not have a spot for vehicle when we return. Overall terrible experience....should have stayed somewhere else

Room was clean and tidy. It's an old place so it's not a palace but it's quiet, clean, has all the essentials. No complaints. Owners seem friendly enough too.
