The Plaza Condominiums, A Vail Resorts Property

We did not stay at The Plaza-where I thought we had booked through Expedia but were booked in an adjacent condo building (missed the small print). It's designation on the brochure we were given was "one of the original condos built at the resort" (late 1960's). It was clean, functional and old. Access was a bit difficult as we had to walk up a hill with our luggage and then climb stairs to the condo. Walls were very thin. Lots of noise from above neighbors with children, but they were just doing routine things-not making unnecessary noise. Jacuzzi was not welcoming. Set in a dark porch. Nobody ever used it during our 3 day stay.

Room was not particularly clean. Had mold in the bathroom and the room was in really bad repair.

I liked the property overall, but the condo was a bit warm and didnt have AC.

We loved the view from our balcony and were very comfortable in the condo! Beautiful, great location

This was not advertised correctly. The building that we were put in was much less nice than what is advertised. There was not furniture on the balcony, the door had no deadbolt and the chain lock has been broken and easily pulled out of the wall. There was evidence on the door that it had been broken into before. There was obvious water damage in the bathroom, the DVD player was broken, the blinds were also broken in places. The screen doors were old and barely opened and closed. Overall it was just disappointing and I would have chosen to stay elsewhere for a similar price had it been honestly represented.

The building they put you in is not the one in the picture- it's an older building. Prepare for an uphill walk around the building and then stairs to climb with your luggage.

Great views, clean, well equipped

Refrigerator or ice maker compressor was very loud. We had trouble getting the key to work in the door and had to wait for maintenance….outside entry

amazing location. perfect room for a family of 4. well stocked kitchen. love the hot tub and sauna room

Great place to stay but *beware* that listing is inaccurate states property has two double beds, it actually has two single day beds. But the mattresses where comfy.
