We couldn’t have asked for a kinder or more hospitable staff. You can truly feel the pride they take in the property. The hotel is immaculate, with a brand-new spa and gym with modern equipment are a huge plus after a day on the slopes. Location is perfect: an easy walk to town center or a quick free bus ride to the lifts. We also loved the daily afternoon drinks and dessert, such a thoughtful touch. A perfect stay in one of our favorite ski villages. We’ll absolutely be back.

We stayed for 4 nights and honestly can't fault anything. The hotel is spotless, bright welcoming and warm in temperature and ambience. The hotel staff are there with a smile and so helpful. Some of the bedroom bathrooms have been renovated and are lovely and some are still in need of updating. The spa and gym are superb and again incredibly clean and well stocked. There is a lovely tea apres skiing and the breakfast room is bight and comfy with a fabulous choice on the menu. It is not cheap but good value and reliable. It is worth the money as it made our stay so easy. The only down side is the boot room is outside the hotel but really that was a minor irritation as the staff were so kind and accommodating.

We had a fantastic time skiing in Zermatt. Hotel Allalin is ideally located, making it easy to get to the ski lifts and explore everything Zermatt has to offer. The hotel is perfectly suited for a ski trip, with comfortable rooms and everything thoughtfully arranged to make your stay easy and enjoyable. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and friendliness that made us feel instantly at home. The customer service is truly outstanding—every member of the team goes above and beyond to help, always with a smile and great attention to detail. Breakfast was delicious, giving us a great start before heading out to ski each morning. Hotel Allalin really stands out for its personal touch and exceptional hospitality. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Zermatt for skiing. We would absolutely stay here again!

Well, despite the hotel being rather beautiful…. Simon at the front desk was not up to par for this hotel. Every conversation I had with him was truly disappointing. His attitude was aloof and would not care to answer my questions.I was ignored and I tried to connect but he was unavailable mentally. Anna was truly attentive and polite. Each time I went downstairs I was hoping he would not be there, to remind me how uncomfortable he made my stay.He took his time looking up with his frowning face, to see me or would truly take his time to come to the front desk when he saw me there. This happened each day…. A really poor representation of such a beautiful hotel. One other thing that was truly negative that the skis were kept a few doors down from the hotel.Then you had to walk down a steep decline, even though they had rubber mats there,it felt rather slippery, especially carrying your skis up and down.
