Staff of the hotel were very helpful regarding inquiries made about Schaffhausen, places of interest, etc.. . Breakfast food was excellent.

"Great location."

It was a nice surprise. Great location. Very cool. Just make sure that you get a room with a window, apparently this hotel have some rooms with no windows. The service was great and I will go back.

"Great location with friendly staff"

Overall experience was nice. It was rainy during my stay so I spent some time in my room. The room was the smallest but not the cheapest compare to the other hotels I stayed during my 17 days ,3 countries trip. The breakfast was nice.

"Superb hotel and excellent staff."

A fantastic hotel set in a wonderful location. The staff were superb and very helpful. The breakfast was delicious, the coffee was great and the croissants and cold meats were fresh and tasty. I have rated the room a 4/5 only because it was a little smaller compared to other hotels I've stayed in. However, given that the building is old and in fitting with the town, this should not be taken as a negative at all. The actual room was modern, all the fittings and furnishings tidy and the exposed wooden beams were wonderful. The hotel is also not very large which is a plus as it is not too busy. My overall experience was wonderful. I will definately stay here again.

"Centrally located"

I was in Schaffhausen for business and I was not happy when I then went to my room at night to discover that my bed wasn't been made and there were no blankets in the closet. I was very tired but had to go to the "ghost" reception to call an emergency number (reception closes at 9) and wait for the lady to drive back to the hotel! The hotel doesn't have parking and finding a spot in the city centre can be difficult and very expensive.
