Super 8 by Wyndham Morristown/South

I had reserved a NON smoking room, with a king bed. for me and my father. which the front desk had originally gave us. when i was in the shower they moved us from our NON smoking room to a smoke friendly room, because "matinence is listed to do this room we need to move you." I have severe allergies and asthma and i could not handle the stale smoke smell in the room we were given. This is not okay this is NOT what i had reserved. I suffered for two days because of these peoples insolence. Not to mention your smoking bedroom had a broken couch, no fan in the bathroom, and no ventilation. AND we didnt see matinence until the day we left, and they were NOT in the room we were supposed to have.

The manager was helpful the morning of checkout. The location was fine. The room was clean.

I checked in around 7 pm-ish. The lady clerk was not very friendly but gave me a convenient room, the first around a short way from the desk. At 11:10 pm, I was already in bed when I heard pushing and rattling on my door. As I attempted to hold the door & lock, the 2 non-English speakers tried to get into my room, pushing and banging on the door. Using my cell phone, I called the front desk & was met with all kinds of excuses - even though this location has NO ELEVATOR & the STEPS ARE DIRECT VIEW OF THE DESK, the clerk did not see or alert them that they were on the wrong floor and trying to get in the wrong room!!! The room was in easy sight & sound of the desk. The clerk made multiple excuses and even said I must not have been too scared because I didn't call faster!!! I have NEVER been so frightened at a hotel & was made to feel stupid by the clerk who was so defensive when he should have just taken care of the problem. The next morning, I relayed the event to the manager, who was apologetic and very kind. Although she offered to comp a room my next trip through town, I will not go back.

very dirty. bad service. disgusting towels. very strong bad cigarette smell.

Low room rates, good location.

It looked like a 70's living room had vomited on the bed spread and there was no breakfast out, had to ask for juice machine to be turned on.

Better wifi and better wall outlets

i had to keep getting new keys because the keys wouldn't let me in to the room after i left it to eat or visit with family.
