Hyatt Vacation Club at The Welk, San Diego Area

Units were very large and comfortable. The resort is located in north central San Diego County. It is great for quiet and peaceful vacation. But is still close to wineries, casinos, and some outdoor activities. A great place to golf. Multiple pools (though one was out for repairs) and recreation facilities. Only one restaurant on site, but there are a lot of good restaurants less than 10 miles away. A car is necessary at this resort.

Juan at guest check-in was very courteous and helpful. He answered all of our questions and provided exceptional customer service to me and my grandmother. I will remember the great service and attitude that he provided. Thank you Juan.

There was no blender in the villa.

The ambiance and cleanliness

I didn’t like that there are no lights on the roads at night. It was very hard to find the villa especially being that it was my first time visiting. It was kind of dangerous to drive at some point.

The space and my kids loved the swimming pool

Check out time is too early 10 am

It had a lot of amenities that seemed to encourage you to stay on the property. I thought the restaurant was excellent.-I love the different choices of pools-I loved the gas fired gathering spot in your downtown for group gatherings in the in the evening

Your market/grocery store was a disappointment. It had very little of anything. It truly is only a snack shop. If I want pressors potato chips, I know where to go. It had nothing that I wanted. I had to go off the property to pay an Uber driver to get to and from a grocery store

You need to have breakfast restaurant available early in the morning. Also need more golf carts available more rapidly.

Room was spacious

Im an owner and I’m very upset that I spent 360.00 of groceries and we got to the facility at 4 to check in. Room was not ready until 7pm unfortunately some of my food went bad from staying in the heat of our vehicle I got very sick I had food poisoning from a dinner I had made w our food as an owner I’m very unhappy that a day w out our room for all I spent to stay there not happy at all. I made a written statement. We were told someone will reach out to us to help and still haven’t heard anything
