Lake View Hotel

If you do like more modern amenities on the island and a location in an ideal spot then this is a good place for you. I've stayed at other hotels on the island and yes, historical charm is awesome but I found this one a little bit different. I had rooms over looking the main street and really enjoyed sitting on their long porch and 2nd floor porch at early evening or early morning. It's not in the exact middle but in a good spot where you can look up and down the street. Anyways, indoor pool in an atrium was a nice touch. No issues with the stay and it was nice to have luggage delivered to and from from the ferry. I believe pricing was comparable to others though there was some type of cyber deal that we did when booking. Don't exactly remember the details.

Great check in experience. Wonderful room. Friendly staff. Luggage porters were friendly and punctual. Near perfect.

This was a Great place to stay. Totally recommend and will stay again if I ever come back. We were able to check in an hour earlier.

We will definitely be staying at the Lake View Hotel on our return to the island in the future. Communication by hotel staff letting us know our room was ready for check-in early. Nice touch having bell hops gather and deliver luggage from the ferry our room. Complimentary coffee in the morning and water in the lobby throughout the day. Enjoyed having coffee in the lobby while planning out the days adventures.

Room was very spacious and clean. Hotel is very charming. Located just across from the ferry stations so easy to get to and from. Overall very nice.
