Everything was great the housekeeping was fantastic everything was great my daughter forgot her stuffed animal and they put it on top of the bed my daughter loved that I thought that was nice the front desk was very nice and quick they were super friendly

We only had time for a quick 24 hour trip to Mackinaw Island. We loved the location right on the main street and across from Shepler's Ferry. Every floor has a porch with chairs to watch the sunrise over the water or see the town wake up in the morning. There is complimentary coffee to enjoy while you sit on the front porch rocking chairs! Loved our stay! Byron, the porter was super helpful and friendly! We'll return next year for a longer stay for sure!

We loved this property. It’s a couple steps right from where the ferry docks. The front porch end side porches are a great place to people watch at night. The staff is great and the rooms were super clean. Love the indoor pool also. A room w 2 beds was perfect for my family of 4.

The Lake View Hotel is just beautiful inside and out, with obvious recent updates to the furnishings and decor which completely compliment the historical significance of the property. The location can’t be beat, as it is right across the street from both ferry lines but also at the end of the shopping area and close to the boardwalk which provided an excellent viewing area for the gorgeous sunsets. They have a wonderful porter service that handled transporting our luggage both to and from the ferry dock, important since there are not cars on the island. Housekeeping was top notch, providing daily service and keeping everything clean and stocked. The pool and hot tub looked very nice, although we didn’t have time to use it. The front desk staff was always friendly, and helpful; and the cucumber water in the lobby was DELICIOUS, and I’m typically not a fan of infused water! I just can’t say enough about how pleased I was with our stay at Lake View Hotel. We visited on Labor Day weekend, which was a great choice as it was cool enough to enjoy the outdoor activities during the day but also warm enough to keep from freezing at night. Plus we had the benefit of seeing all of the gorgeous flower gardens around the island filled out and in full bloom - except for the lilacs that Mackinac Island is famous for, of course, since they peek earlier in the year. It was a great stay for the entire family!

We had a great time at Lake View. The pool was great for my kids and the location across from the Shepler Ferry dock made it very easy to find. Our room was very nice and clean. We had an atrium room with 2 queens. The staff was very friendly and helpful with any question we had.

So convenient, right across from Ferry dock. Looking out over Lake Huron. Mackinac Isl is amazing. Rocking chairs nice!

Good location, close to the ferry, right in downtown, clean rooms and facilities. Pricey and doesn't include breakfast, coffee served just in the morning for a limited time. Not getting much for what you pay.

Cleanliness and friendliness are priorities for this hotel. We had our daughter who enjoyed the pool while we enjoyed the hot tub. Great stay!

Great hotel with lots of charm! Great attentive staff! Pool is wonderful for my kids. Perfect location and stunning views of the island. Definitely a gem!
