Lake View Hotel

I highly recommend this hotel. Not only is this a great location the staff went above and beyond in helping us. Our bags took a little longer to come to our room. We called down to front desk within 5 mins we had someone at our door who wanted to know what are bags looked like to track them down and promised to put them in our room while we explored the island. When we got back sure enough our bags were in the room.

Very slow paced vibe, It feels like you’re in “Pleasantville”

Clean, friendly staff, kids loved having a swimming pool. Close to everything. Has air conditioning If really hot in summer. Close to ship embarking and disembarking. Can bike or walk to get more quiet or isolation to see natural beauty of island. Pricey but everything is on the island.

Best views, excellent customer service and plenty of room outdoors and indoors to socialize with your friends and meet others if you want! Whether on the front porch, on the third floor balcony, or sitting indoors in the front reception area, my friends and I felt like we were part of a big family and at the same time felt like we were in our own private living room. It was my birthday and they put it up on their screen along with other announcements. We were always greeted and given great recommendations when asked. The Lakeview is clean, comfortable, friendly, and located at the west end of town near Shepler's ferry service.

Excellent stay

This was our first experience on the island and this location was ideal. It was super clean, comfortable, and easy access from the ferry. We will definitely recommend Lake View Hotel to friends and family.
